Renee became even angrier. “I don’t agree with your nonsense. If you have to pick a side in order to survive too would you betray Stefan and choose to collude with a villain like Jovan?”
Xavier shrugged with a smile. “It’s hard to say. I’ve never been in such a situation before so I’m not sure what I would do.”
“Hmph Stefan would be stirring in his grave if he knew that. If it were me once I chose someone I would always be loyal to them and I would never betray them even if it might endanger my life!”
“Are you feeling indignant on Stefan’s behalf? Of course you’re taking your husband’s side… Looks like you still have feelings for him. If he knew he would definitely feel so happy that he would come back to life.”
