“Hugh are you alright?” Terrified Renee hurried over to support Leon worriedly.
“I’m fine.” Leon nodded.
“Good!” Renee scanned him up and down and relaxed when she confirmed that he was unharmed.
Meanwhile the two elderly men did not go after Leon.
One of the men grabbed Bucky and rescued him from Leon’s restraint to prevent Leon from hurting
Bucky further or using him as a hostage.
“I’m finally safe!” Bucky sighed a breath of relief.
Both Aurelia and Gaston were relieved as well.
Gaston was defeated by Leon and came close to suffering further injuries from Leon’s attacks.
Thankfully the two men he brought leaped into action in time.
They fended Leon off and managed to rescue Bucky which was quite fortunate considering the current
situation.
“This kid’s powerful. Why don’t we just let this pass?” The two elderly men said thoughtfully
Since Leon was using his spiritual energy the two of them could not detect anything from Leon and
could not guess which level Leon was in.
However since Leon managed to defeat Gaston and dodge their attacks he had to be in the Semi-
Almighty state or above.
For someone Leon’s age to reach the Semi-Almighty state he had to be extremely talented and held
great potential for future growth.
On top of that Leon was Renee’s boyfriend and had the support of the Morrisons.
With all aspects considered they should not cross Leon.
Hence the elderly men felt that it was best to stop before the situation escalated further to prevent
making a powerful enemy for the Grimstons.
Continuing would not benefit the Grimstons in any way so they did not continue to attack as they did
not wish to worsen the situation.
“Let this pass? No way! This guy broke my leg. There’s no way I’ll let this pass!” Bucky shouted
resentfully.
Leon embarrassed him in public in the shop and now broke his leg so there was no way that he could
make peace.
“Bucky’s right! We can’t just let this pass. The Grimstons have a reputation to uphold!” Gaston said
viciously.
Though Leon was likely in the Semi-Almighty State and this caught them by surprise the two men he
brought with him were both in the Almighty State.
They should be able to deal with Leon.
Not only did Leon Bucky’s leg but he also injured Gaston.
Gaston knew that the Grimstons would be the laughingstock of the region if he admitted defeat to a
young man.
He wanted something else.
To retaliate for the injuries they suffered and defend their family’s honor he refused to admit defeat.
