Leon was not the only one who was offended.
Renee too was infuriated by Gaston’s unreasonable demand. “Mister Grimston I’ve already made it
clear that Mister Bucky and Miss Aurelia here picked on Hugh. This isn’t Hugh’s fault! It’s bad enough
that you don’t reprimand them for doing such things and now you’re asking Hugh to break his arm as
an apology? Don’t you think you are out of line here?”
“So what if I’m out of line? He injured Bucky and I won’t forgive him. All I’m asking is that he break his
arm. Consider this a favor to the Morrisons!” Gaston said coldly.
If Leon belonged to the Morrisons or any other prestigious families in the western region he would not
do much to Leon out of concern for retaliation.
However Leon was merely a vice president of a humble background so he would not allow him to
disrespect the Grimstons.
“Why you!” Renee’s face paled from anger and she felt helpless.
Though she was the eldest daughter of the Morrisons she was just a junior.
Meanwhile Gaston was the leader of the second-generation martial artists in the Grimstons and the
future heir of his family.
In terms of status and power she could not rival with Gaston.
Since Gaston remained domineering and demanded that Hugh break his arm as an apology for injuring
Bucky she did not know how to respond.
“Kid did you hear me? Let Bucky go and break one of your arms as an apology!” Gaston stared at
Leon coldly.
He felt that he already had the situation under control or at least that was what he thought.
Though he did not know the extent of Leon’s power and could not figure out how a nobody managed to
injure Bucky he concluded that Leon could not be that formidable judging by his age. At most he
would only be slightly stronger than Bucky.
As the leader of the second-generation martial artists in his family Gaston had long reached the Semi-
Almighty State and was not far from reaching the Almighty State.
With his current strength Leon could not possibly rival him.
Hence he decided to stand up for Bucky. Using the fact that Leon injured Bucky he forced Leon to
break his arm and assumed Leon had no choice but to obey.
“Very well! Mister Grimston let’s do it your way. Out of respect for the Grimstons I’ll let Mister Bucky go
if he breaks one of his arms otherwise I won’t show him any mercy!” Leon laughed angrily.
“What?” His words shook everyone to their core.
Aurelia thought that Leon would be intimidated by Gaston’s presence and would let go of Bucky before
breaking his arm to apologize.
To her bewilderment Leon did not cave and instead faced up to Gaston.
This caught her by surprise and she could not figure out what gave him the courage to do such a thing.
Did Leon have a death wish?
Naturally Renee felt the same as well.
Ever since Hugh defeated Felton she assumed that Hugh was in the Advanced Emperor state. While
this may mean that Hugh was unmatched amongst the youngest generation he still could not hold a
candle to martial artists of the older generation.
Meanwhile Gaston was the leader of the second-generation martial artists in the Grimstons and the
Semi-Almighty State.
Felton and Bucky could not be compared with Gaston so there was no wait that Hugh would stand a
chance against him.
Yet he seemed to have gone mad and challenged Gaston without the slightest hint of fear.
This was practically suicidal and Renee was shaken.
