“Elder Feaks you can’t defeat me. I’ll give you one last word of warning. Mister Jaxon is severely
injured and it would be too late by the time you get him to the hospital. I’m the only one who can save
him. I would like for you to cease this nonsense or you will just make a fool of yourself” Leon said
calmly with his hands behind his back.
He knew that this was merely a misunderstanding and held back on Roman. Had he not done so
Roman would have suffered far more than mild injuries.
However if they refused to see reasons and delayed the perfect time for Jaxon to be revived Leon had
no choice but to exert all his strength.
“Why you… Don’t get smug kid! You only managed to defeat me because you have a treasure in your
possession. That’s not real strength.” Roman scoffed.
When he faced Leon directly he could see that his true energy tore through Leon’s defense and struck
him in the chest. However Leon remained unscathed and did not even back away.
The only possible explanation to this would be that Leon had a defensive treasure in the Semi-Almighty
State or above around his chest. Otherwise he would not be capable of fending off the attack.
“No wonder! So this kid is using a treasure!”
Realization dawned on Romeo and the elders. They were all quite confused at first as to how a young
man like Leon managed to defeat Roman with just a finger.
At that moment they finally realized that Leon possessed a defensive tool at the Semi-Almighty State
or above. It was because of this tool that he managed to defeat Roman.
Though the tool was powerful its usage was likely limited to three times so it would not actually be
counted as true strength.
The Feaks instantly decided they had nothing to fear from Leon.
“Let us help you! As powerful as his treasure may be he can’t possibly fight the three of us at the same
time!” The two elders shouted before striding to Roman’s side to surround Leon.
“Very well! Let’s work together and defeat him!” Roman nodded.
He knew that Leon had likely reached the Advanced Emperor State and with such powerful treasure in
his possession Roman would not be able to defeat Leon on his own. Hence he could only work
together with the elders.
The elders were two of the most powerful martial artists among the five elders in the family. They had
also reached the Semi-Almighty State and were simply slightly weaker than Roman.
With three martial artists in the Semi-Almighty State they could easily exhaust the limit of Leon’s
treasure and defeat him.
