“Take this!” Leon extended another hand and launched yet another Earthly Plunder at the speed of
lightning.
“What? That’s impossible!” Roman was stunned when he sensed Leon’s attack.
He initially thought he could easily defeat Leon with a single blow and did not hold back at all. To his
bewilderment his attack did not hurt Leon at all.
Not only did Leon fend it off but he also took the chance to counter.
This had completely caught Roman by surprise. He wanted to dodge but was still in the momentum of
his initial attack.
At the very last moment he gathered the remaining true energy within him and backed away from
Leon’s Earthly Plunder with his superior speed.
“Running so soon? You won’t get away!” Leon scoffed and saw right through Roman’s intention.
He took a huge step forward and launched the Phantom Steps. His attack got closer to Roman as he
charged forward at a godly speed.
No matter how hard Roman tried he simply could not get away from Leon.
“Damn it!” Roman’s heart sank and he was left with no option but to launch a hasty counterattack.
Baam!
Following a deafening sound Leon’s Earthly Plunder tore through Roman’s defense and sent him
flying.
Roman landed on the ground and spat a mouthful of blood clearly having sustained internal injuries.
“He was defeated? How is that possible?”
Romeo and the elders rubbed their eyes in disbelief.
They all knew how formidable Roman was and all assumed Leon had a death wish for challenging
Roman head-on. However reality had proven them completely wrong.
None of them expected things to turn out completely differently. Leon actually managed to defeat and
injure Roman who was in the Semi-Almighty State with a single finger.
It was so surreal that they were all shaken.
“How could this happen…” Roman was just as shocked.
Placing a hand over his aching chest he struggled to get up with a dark expression.
Based on Leon’s speed and explosive power he could tell that Leon was merely in the Advanced
Emperor State which was miles away from the Semi-Almighty State he was in.
However Leon somehow managed to defeat him with ease.
It was truly unbelievable and he could not figure out how Leon managed to do such a thing.
