“Hugh wait!” Renee was taken aback and she spoke up hesitantly.
She knew that Hugh was just a vice president who had no connection in the Western region.
The Grimstons and the Underwoods were both powerful families with armies of formidable martial
artists including some who were in the Almighty State.
Hugh who was merely in the Advanced Emperor State could not compare with them.
If Hugh recklessly broke Bucky’s leg and enraged the Grimstons this would not work well for him.
With that thought in mind she wanted to tell Hugh to stop and let Bucky and Aurelia go.
However considering how arrogant Bucky and Aurelia were the fact they showed no remorse enraged
Hugh.
It would be unfair for Hugh if she asked him to stop.
Instantly she could not decide what to do.
Just then the situation shifted.
“Stop!” someone roared.
A formidable-looking middle-aged man charged toward them followed by two elderly men.
The group of three arrived right before Leon within the blink of an eye.
“Who are you there?” Leon was slightly taken aback when he realized that the three men before him
were all rather formidable.
He paused and stepped on Bucky’s chest instead to pin him down.
“Dad you came at the right time! Help me!” Bucky looked up and was overjoyed when he saw who
they were.
He immediately struggled to get up to seek help but Leon’s leg pinned him in place so firmly that he
could not move at all.
“So you’re all from the Grimstons.” Realization dawned on Leon and he finally realized that they were
from the Grimstons.
Still he did not expect them to show up all of a sudden and was slightly shocked.
“Bucky what’s going on?” The middle-aged man’s expression darkened when he saw how Bucky was
pinned on the ground and spotted the blood on his lips.
He knew that Bucky and Aurelia had come to purchase jadeites for their engagement party. However
they did not return after a long while.
He was starting to worry that something bad happened to them. Since this area was the territory of the
Grimston and their mansion was located not far away he led some people to check on them to find
Leon about to attack Bucky.
Still he just arrived and did not know what happened.
Leon looked unfamiliar and he could not tell if Leon was from any of the powerful families in the
western region. Hence he dared not to act recklessly.
“Uncle this guy is Hugh Wolf. He’s just a vice president in some small firm. Bucky and I were
purchasing jadeite when we got into a fight with him” Not giving Bucky a chance to speak Aurelia
chimed in.
She merely mentioned that there were some conflicts while they were making a purchase but did not
bother to mention how she and Bucky undermined Leon.
