“What’s going on? Why isn’t Ren picking up my calls? There’s something wrong.” Leia’s frown deepened and she felt anxious. Renee should be at the hospital now and she would definitely have her phone with her to pass the time. If she wasn’t answering her phone it meant something was wrong.
“I have to go to the hospital to see Ren. Something must have happened to her!” Leia pushed her blanket aside to get out of bed.
“Just stop! Please!” Xavier pressed her down onto the bed again. “Nothing will go wrong okay? Renee’s good at martial arts so you’re worrying for nothing. Besides you’ll be going in for surgery in an hour.”
“But…”
Xavier sighed exasperatedly. “I’ll ask Stefan to check on her if you’re that worried.”
