Iris took a deep breath, immediately calming down.
Even though she still did not think that Jonah would harm them her feelings for Leon meant that she felt the need to listen to Leon. It was still better to be careful.
“Really? That’s great!” Leon was incredibly happy. He looked very spirited and the shadow in his eyes was quickly gone.
“Iris it’s one thing for this brat to act crazy why are you being crazy as well?” Gilbert said thunderously.
“Dad I think Leon’s right. We need to be careful! I think we should go back for now. Let’s make other plans” Iris tried to advise.
“What? That’s not happening! If you want to go back then go back yourselves. I’ll go save your grandfather alone!” Gilbert said angrily.

Iris still did not give up.

Gilbert and Iris were shocked as well.
They knew of Leon’s grudges with the Lowes. With the Lowe’s hidden there they obviously knew that it was not a good sign!
Gilbert in particular finally woke up. He fell for Jonah’s plot!

He finally understood that Leon did not try to cause trouble when Leon kept on saying that something was wrong with Jonah. He was just too dumb and blamed Leon!

Jonah let out a faint smile before he stepped back retreating behind Harold’s man.
“Jonah you despicable petty man. I really misjudged you” Gilbert said angrily. His expression was incredibly dark.
Leon already told him to be careful of Jonah so many times but he refused to listen!
