As she said that she turned around and walked out.
“No you can’t go! Leon is already something of the past. You should keep looking forward. Anson is yo ur best choice at the moment!” Gilbert pushed his wheelchair and hurriedly tried to stop IRIS.
In truth he stopped Iris in one part because Leon was about to get engaged to Cynthia but the other p art

He knew of Leon’s situation. The fact that Leon managed to reach his heights was mostly thanks to the help and support of the Shears.
Leon was about to get engaged to Cynthia. If Leon went back on his words at that moment and got back together with Iris it would definitely hurt Cynthia greatly and even tarnish the Shears‘ reputation. Then both sides would become enemies which would be fat al for Leon!
