“The Dagleshs are quite formidable” Contrary to the Dagleshs’ excitement Renee’s heart sank and
she revealed a worried expression.
She knew that Leon had the intention to work with the Dagleshs since he agreed to their invitation.
This was hardly good news for the Morrisons.
However it was up to Leon to decide who he wanted to work with and she could not help that he
favored the Dagleshs.
Thankfully she managed to postpone Leon’s visit by a day and bought more time for the Morrisons.
It was up to Hugo to see if the Morrisons could beat the Dagleshs to obtain the partnership with
Cynthion Group.
“Mister Wolf if there’s nothing else you need we will leave for now!” Elder Daglesh and Jensen said
farewell to Leon and left with the other two men.
Once they left Renee started pouting.
“Miss Morrison what’s wrong? Are you upset because I agreed to go to the Dagleshs’ mansion?”
Sensing her frustration Leon asked.
He thought back to how he ignored the pleading look in Renee’s eyes and accepted Jensen’s invitation
realizing that perhaps Renee was upset about this.
This seemed to be the only reasonable explanation.
“No! Business deals are what they are. Whether the Dagleshs and Morrisons obtain the chance to work
with Cynthion Group is just a matter of ability. Why should I get upset over it?” Renee shook her head.
“No? Why are you upset then?” Leon did not expect to be wrong.
“What do you think? You have been the chairman of Cynthion Group all along yet you used a fake
name for the past few days in front of us! Was it fun to toy with US?” Renee asked with displeasure and
shot him a conflicted glance.
She had a rather decent impression of Leon and came to treat him as a friend after spending time with
him.
He was toying with her and she had all the reasons to get upset.
Upon learning that Hugh was Leon she was quite surprised.
“So that’s why you’re upset!’ Realization dawned on Leon.
