“Elder Daglesh I’m sorry but Leon has to purchase some tools to produce alchemical pills this
afternoon so he may not have time to visit!” Renee chimed in.
She knew that Elder Daglesh was inviting Leon over to discuss business in private hoping to obtain the
partnership with Cynthion Group before the Morrisons.
Hugo was wise to leave Renee with Leon as she would serve the purpose of stopping this from
happening.
There was no way that she would allow this so she rejected Elder Daglesh’s invitation before Leon
could say anything.
Leon shot her a pointed look.
He was no fool and knew that Elder Daglesh was inviting him to obtain the partnership with Cynthion
Group.
It was inappropriate for Renee to make the decision in his place and reject Elder Daglesh’s invitation
without his permission.
However she treated him well and helped him on multiple occasions.
Since she already turned Elder Daglesh down he remained silent to avoid embarrassing Renee.
“I see” Elder Daglesh was slightly disappointed.
Just then Jensen chimed in and asked sincerely “Mister Wolf are you free tomorrow? If so can you
come by our house?”
Since Leon was not free that day he could only compromise and invite Leon over the next day. It would
still deliver the same effect.
“But” Seeing as Jensen refused to give up Renee opened her mouth hesitantly.
She initially wanted to repeat the same trick and reject the Daglesh in Leon’s place.
However she could not cross the line.
She took the liberty to reject Elder Daglesh’s invitation and if she continued to do so she would be out
of line.
Hence she could only give up and simply stared at Leon with anticipation hoping that he would reject
Jensen.
“Well sure!” Leon said thoughtfully.
Because of what Jayden did Leon preferred to work with the Dagleshs for stability’s sake.
Hence he ignored Renee’s stare and accepted the invitation.
“It’s settled then!” Elder Daglesh and Jensen perked up in excitement.
Since Leon agreed to go to the Dagleshs’ mansion it meant that he preferred the Dagleshs.
Instantly the two were overwhelmed by excitement.
