“Running? Not so soon!” Gaston mistakenly thought Leon was running when he overheard his
conversation with Renee.
His expression darkened and he ordered the two elderly men “Uncles get on with it before that kid
runs away.”
“Yes sir!”
“Don’t you try to run. Prepare to die!”
The elderly men heeded Gaston’s order and each launched a powerful attack at Leon.
They both shared Gaston’s thoughts. Leon was far too talented and had great potential for further
growth in the future.
Under normal circumstances one should either befriend such talent or nib it in the crib without giving
them a chance to rise.
Since Gaston and Bucky insisted on making Leon their enemy the elderly men could only team up
against Leon to destroy him on the spot actively preventing him from retaliating.
“Hugh run! You won’t get away if you don’t run now” Renee panicked when they launched their attacks
and she shoved at Leon hinting him to run.
However Leon remained unmoved.
“It’s fine. I told you there’s no need for that. Just step aside and leave these scums to me!” Leon said
calmly.
With his overall strength reaching the Advanced Almighty State he had no fear for two martial artists in
the Initial Almighty state.
However he needed help to wield his full power with Renee by his side. Hence he gently pushed her
to the back to prevent her from getting caught in the crossfire.
He then turned around and fired up his spiritual energy to face the two martial artists before him.
“How arrogant!”
“Since you want to die we’ll grant your wish. Take this! Shadow strike!”
The two elderly men were enraged by Leon’s attitude and they each launched their most powerful
technique.
The true energy within them gathered in their arms until they were glowing in a green light before they
charged at Leon.
Since they were attacking from different directions and completely in sync with each other Leon should
not be able to fend them off simultaneously.
“It’s over!” Witnessing how powerful the elderly men’s attacks were Renee was devastated.
She initially wanted Leon to escape in time and did not expect Leon to refuse and face up to the enemy
instead.
This was practically suicidal.
Since the two elderly men worked well together and launched attacks from different angles they sealed
all potential escape routes and it was too late for Leon to try and run.
Instantly she was filled with concern and despair.
