“You’ll find out if I dare to do so soon enough! Old man I’ve already given you a chance. Since you
won’t take it don’t blame me for what I’m about to do!” Leon scoffed.
Without hesitation he stomped on Bucky’s knees.
Snap!
Following a crisp sound the bones on Bucky’s knees were instantly shattered.
Bucky screamed and saw stars from the pain coming close to fainting.
“Hugh have you gone mad?” Renee was utterly shocked and gaped at him in disbelief.
Though Hugh was only in the Advanced Emperor state making him far weaker than Gaston at least
he had Bucky as his hostage.
It was the best strategy to negotiate with Gaston using Bucky as the bargaining chip. That way Hugh
may be able to escape unscathed.
However not only did Hugh not do so but he also repeatedly challenged Gaston and even broke
Bucky’s leg in front of Gaston.
This seemed reckless and she was taken aback by Leon’s actions.
“You!” Renee was not the only one who was shocked; So were Gaston and Aurelia.
None of them expected Leon to harm Bucky and they were all caught by surprise.
“How dare you hurt my son? I’m going to kill you!” Gaston snapped out of it and glared daggers at
Leon.
Unable to suppress his anger any longer he charged at Leon wielding powerful true energy in his
hands.
He was ready to tear Leon into pieces to vent his anger.
“Mister Grimston wait!” Renee was terrified.
Without hesitation she stood before Hugh in an attempt to protect Hugh or negotiate with Gaston to get
Hugh an opportunity to escape.
This was the only thing she could do for Hugh at the moment.
“Get out of the way or I’ll kill you too!” The fact that Leon harmed Bucky completely enraged Gaston.
Overwhelmed by rage he had no regard for Renee’s status and sent a powerful wave of energy toward
her.
“It’s over” Renee’s heart sank.
Though she managed to reach the Initial Emperor State with Hugh’s help she was still no match for
Gaston who was in the Semi-Almighty state.
In the face of such a powerful attack she had no means to protect herself or dodge so she could
simply watch as the attack approached.
If she was not mistaken she would at least be severely injured once she took the blow.
Devastated she did not know what to do.
“Miss Morrison step aside. I’ll deal with this old man!” Leon reacted swiftly and grabbed her on the
shoulder before pulling her behind him.
Extending his finger he launched the Earthly Plunder.
His energy transformed into a blade that extended out of his finger and he wielded it against Gaston’s
attack.
