“Impossible? Well you asked for this? I gave you a chance. Since you won’t take it don’t blame me for
what I’m about to do.” Leon sneered and narrowed his eyes maliciously.
“What? What are you going to do?” Sensing the malicious aura from Leon an ominous feeling rose
within Bucky.
“Since you won’t apologize I don’t suppose you need those legs anymore. I’ll be nice and break them
for you!” Leon said coldly.
He then raised his leg intending to land a blow on Bucky’s knees.
“What? You- you wouldn’t dare!” Bucky was terrified.
However realization soon dawned on him and he regained his composure.
“Don’t bother trying to scare me! I’m warning you! The Grimstons are powerful and not people that
someone like you can afford to cross. If you dare to hurt me the Grimstons will come after you!” Bucky
roared and attempted to intimidate Leon with his family’s power.
He knew that Leon was just a vice president who was not from any powerful family. Hence he was no
match for the powerful Grimstons and assumed that Leon was just trying to scare him.
There was no way that he would dare to do such a thing and Bucky was not at all worried.
“That’s right! You better let Bucky go or the Grimstons and the Underwoods will hunt you down”
Aurelia agreed along but her attitude remained arrogant.
She shared Bucky’s thoughts and did not think someone as powerless as Leon would dare to harm
them unless he had a death wish.
“You just won’t give up. You two must have a death wish! Let’s see if you can keep that attitude up
later!” Leon laughed angrily.
He was never one to submit to threats.
He never met Bucky and Aurelia in the past and shared no grudges with them. Yet they repeatedly
undermined him.
Not only did they compete with him over the clear jadeite and green jadeite but they also tried to bully
him by force afterward.
Their actions were out of line and if they apologized for what they did Leon would have considered
forgiving them since they did not do anything else to him.
However they did not seem to recognize their mistakes and remained arrogant which enraged him.
Since they were determined to dig their graves he saw no reason to hold back.
Without hesitation he aimed at Bucky’s knees and swung his leg.
“Why you!” Both Bucky and Aurelia lost their composure and were both shocked that Leon meant what
he said.
Bucky did not expect Leon to disregard the power of the Grimstons.
This completely caught him by surprise and his heart sank.
