“Mister Grimston I’ve already told you that Hugh is in the Advanced Emperor State and that you are no
match for him. You two just wouldn’t believe me! What about now?” Renee smirked mockingly and
looked at the two of them like they were fools.
“Well” Both Bucky and Aurelia finally realized the situation before them.
They assumed that Renee was bluffing about Hugh’s power to defend him. However if Hugh could
injure Bucky with a single blow he was likely in the Intermediate Almighty State or above.
They finally understood that Renee was telling the truth instead of bluffing. They merely been too
arrogant and ended up underestimating Hugh.
“Damn it! How can this happen?” Both of their expression darkened.
They could not understand how a mere vice president managed to reach the Advanced Emperor state.
It was surreal.
Aurelia initially thought that her boyfriend was far better than Hugh and wanted to take this opportunity
to embarrass Renee.
However the reality proved her completely wrong.
The financial capability Hugh showcased during the auction and his power as a martial artist surpassed
Bucky.
It was no wonder that he managed to win Renee over and Auralia was devastated.
“Mister Grimston you wanted to even the scores right? As you wish. Let’s even the scores.” Leon
scoffed and strode toward Bucky who was on the ground.
“What- what are you going to do?” Shocked Bucky started to panic.
He lost to Leon and his arrogance faded without a trace in the face of absolute power.
“It’s simple. You asked me to kneel and apologize right? I’ll give you a chance to do the same and I
can act like this never happened. Otherwise I won’t show any mercy!” Leon said mockingly and used
Bucky’s words against him.
“What? Impossible!” Bucky was stunned.
For someone with his status he could never kneel to someone else let alone to a mere vice president.
Though Leon was formidable and was likely in the Advanced Emperor State the Grimstons were
powerful with an army of formidable martial artists.
For the Grimstons crushing Leon would be as easy as crushing an ant. Hence there was no way that
he would submit to Leon let alone kneeling to apologize.
