“I see! Miss Morrison you are just bluffing to defend him aren’t you?” Bucky said thoughtfully.
He mistook Leon for Renee’s boyfriend and since Renee was saying that Hugh was in the Advanced
Emperor state he instantly concluded that she was exaggerating to scare him away and protect Hugh.
This was merely a trick to prevent him from harming Hugh and he could not think of any other
reasonable explanation.
“Bucky’s right! He’s in the Initial Emperor State and apart from Hugo and Felton no one in the younger
generation can defeat him. This guy is just helpless and can’t possibly defeat Bucky! Renee even if
you want to defend your boyfriend you need to at least try and sound convincing” Aurelia said
mockingly.
She shared Bucky’s thoughts and felt that Renee was just lying to protect Hugh.
She never heard of anyone in the youngest generation who reached the Advanced Emperor State yet
Renee claimed Hugh accomplished the impossible.
Renee’s words were simply too far-fetched and there was no way that Aurelia would believe her.
“I’m not bluffing. I’m telling the truth. Believe whatever you want!” Renee said with displeasure.
She was merely reminding them out of kindness hoping that they would stop before embarrassing
themselves.
Yet they were too arrogant to take her advice and did not believe her.
She could not help with that and decided to just ignore them.
“Of course we don’t believe you! In any case please move aside Miss Morrison. I wouldn’t have you
get caught in the crossfire!” Bucky said proudly.
Since Renee was standing before Leon he could not quite attack.
Hence he could only ask her to move aside. After all he once loved Renee and did not want to hurt
her.
“Very well! You asked for this. Since you insist do as you please!” Renee shrugged and walked aside.
She knew what Hugh was capable of and did not think Bucky could rival Hugh.
Since she already reminded Aurelia and Bucky and they refused to believe her she would not be held
accountable for what would happen next.
“What?!” Bucky was taken aback.
He thought that as Hugh’s girlfriend Renee would continue to defend him and did not expect her to
move aside.
Still he was determined to teach Leon a lesson and it worked in his favor that Renee moved aside.
He was not about to miss this opportunity.
“Kid I shall show you what it means to cross me! Die!” Not wanting to give Renee a chance to change
her mind he charged at Leon at the speed of lightning wanting to vent his anger on Leon for what
happened earlier.
“I’m embarrassed for you that you think you have what it takes! Know your place!” Leon scoffed and
stepped forward to launch an attack against Bucky’s attack.
