“I’m not messing with you. I’m just telling the truth. There were a lot of people including Mister Cade

and Mister Daglesh present when Mister Wolf made the purchase. We’re all witnesses so why would I

risk my reputation just to lie to you?” Arron said with displeasure.

“Well” Bucky was rendered speechless as he knew Arron was right.

As a direct descendent of a prestigious family Arron could not possibly lie in front of so many people or

he would ruin his reputation which would only harm him.

“Mister Rathbourne you can say whatever you want. I don’t care if this guy paid 287 million for rare

herbs. That’s in the past. Regardless he bid 50 million for this piece of jadeite and if he can afford it he

needs to pay now! ” Aurelia gritted out with a dark expression.

She assumed that Leon could not gather such a large amount of time immediately given his status.

However the reality proved her utterly wrong.

She did not anticipate that Leon was capable of paying 287 million for rare herbs and she was caught

by surprise.

Shocked by Leon’s financial status she could only pray that Leon used up all his funds for the herbs.

If Leon managed to purchase the jadeite with 50 million both she and Bucky would embarrass

themselves in front of the crowd.

“It’s just 50 million. It’s not even a big deal. Miss Underwood Mister Wolf doesn’t even need to pay for

this himself. Just one word from him and I’m more than willing to pay for this! Arron smirked mockingly.

“What?”

“You want to pay for him? Have you lost your mind?” Both Bucky and Aurelia could not believe what

they were hearing.

Aurelia was just fantasizing that perhaps Leon used up all his money and may be unable to pay 50

million for the jadeite.

To her bewilderment Arron offered to pay for Leon.

This was surreal.

Though Arron had access to around 50 million as the eldest son of the Rathbournes his situation was

similar to that of Aurelia and Bucky.

If Arron paid 50 million for a piece of jadeite and gave it to someone else the Rathbournes would

surely punish him.

The two of them could not comprehend why Arron would risk angering his family to pay for Leon nor

could they accept what they were hearing.

The crowd was equally shocked as well.

50 million was not a small amount and they all wondered why Arron would offer to pay for Leon.
