“Oh yeah.” Leon recalled about the jadeite and opened his mouth to answer.
However Aurelia interrupted him before he could speak.
“Bucky that piece looks great and matches your looks.” She glanced at it and pulled Bucky over.
“How much is this?” she asked the saleswoman.
“This costs 1.8 million” the saleswoman blurted out.
“1.8 million? That’s not that expensive! We will take it!” Aurelia said hastily.
She already heard what the saleswoman said and guessed that Leon and Renee were interested in
this piece of jadeite.
Initially she wanted to mock Renee for dating a man of low status to embarrass her. However Renee
remained unfazed and silenced her which displeased her.
Therefore she decided to purchase the jadeite before Renee and Leon could do so.
She only came here with Bucky because she wanted to purchase a few pieces of jadeites for her
engagement party.
The piece before her matched her taste and the price was reasonable as well.
On top of that she felt like she could vent her frustration on Renee by stealing what she wanted.
“Um I’m sorry Madam. This gentleman here said he wanted this. I can sell it to you but only if he no
longer wants it.” The saleswoman smiled apologetically and turned to Leon for further instruction.
“I’ll take it. Take my card!” Leon said.
He could tell that Aurelia wanted to purchase the jadeite as a means to humiliate Renee.
However the saleswoman already turned her down so Leon did not think much of it and handed his
card to the saleswoman to purchase the jadeite.
“Sure! Please give me a moment Sir” The saleswoman reached out to take Leon’s card only to be
stopped by Aurelia.
“What’s wrong with you? I’ve already told you that I wanted this! Are you deaf?” Aurelia said in
displeasure.
She then slapped the saleswoman’s hand out of the way to prevent her from taking Leon’s card.
“Ow” Pained the saleswoman’s smile froze.
Not only was Aurelia arrogant and impolite but she also slapped the saleswoman on the wrist.
This frustrated the saleswoman but she had no choice but to suppress her anger.
After all she could tell that Aurelia was from a powerful background judging from the way she dressed
and a mere saleswoman could not afford to cross her.
