“But…” The three of them were rendered speechless by this.
“Kid what exactly do you want? We may have been the ones who attacked you but you are
unscathed. The three of US on the other hand are severely injured. If you don’t intend on letting US
go are you planning to kill US?” Diego said darkly.
He already learned from Felton that Hugh was just an outsider from the southern region with no
connections in the western region.
Though Hugh was young and formidable with his strength reaching the Almighty State he was just one
person and could not rival the Fermers.
As powerful as Hugh may be he could not defeat the Western Boss and all those who worked for him.
To settle the matter in peace or prevent the situation from escalating Diego assumed that Hugh would
let them go as he had no other choice.
After all he could not take their lives as that was a taboo for the Dragon Corps.
If Hugh took their lives he would face retaliation from the Western Boss and the Fermers all the while
being wanted by the Dragon Corps.
He did not think Hugh would be that foolish.
“Yeah! Kid you wouldn’t dare to kill US. Let US go!” Enzo and Milo agreed along.
They knew that Hugh would never murder out of fear for the Dragon Corps. Regaining their
composure they resumed their arrogant tone.
“Let you go? Dream on! Don’t worry. I have just the place for you three. You will go there to reflect on
your mistakes!” Leon said mockingly.
Just as Diego and the others anticipated Leon was not one to take lives unnecessarily.
Besides these three merely worked for the Western Boss and there was no point for him to take their
lives.
However he could not let them go either as they would convey everything they found to the Western
Boss.
Hence he intended to repeat what he did in the southern region and send these three to the Dragon
Corps’ cells.
“Where? What are you going to do?” Diego and the others exchanged baffled glances.
They could not think of any option other than taking their lives or setting them free.
“You will find out soon enough!” Leon scoffed.
Ignoring them he took out his phone to call Fletcher and Howard before explaining the situation.
Sometime later footsteps approached just as Diego and the others wondered what Leon was planning
to do with them.
Fletcher and Howard rushed in.
“Mister Caldicot Mister Carn here you are!” Leon greeted them with a smile.
