The elders’ eyes lit up and they all agreed with the suggestion.
‘Well alright! Hugo how about you go and speak with Mister Wolf in private?” Caleb considered it and
felt that it was an acceptable solution.
Though it may not resolve their concerns it could at least increase the chance of obtaining a
partnership with Cynthion Group.
Apart from that Caleb and the elders could not think of anything else.
’No it won’t work! I’ve only met Mister Wolf once in the southern region and we aren’t exactly that
close. Even if I go to him he wouldn’t just choose to work with the Morrisons for the sake of a mere
acquaintance!” Hugo shook his head and rejected the idea.
’I see” Caleb and the elders were disappointed.
They all knew that they all offended Hugh. Because Hugo was not a close friend of Hugh there was no
point for him to seek a private audience with Leon.
Before they could get disheartened Hugo said “Grandfather I have an idea. •
Realization dawned on Hugo and he revealed an excited look.
“Oh? What is it? Go ahead and tell us!” Caleb and the elders asked.
‘Mister Wolf came to the western region to expand into the market here and establish a branch. Given
the limitation of his connection here in the
western region it would be rather difficult for him to build a branch from scratch. If we can help him
acquire a pharmaceutical firm to resolve this issue he will likely choose to partner with US instead”
Hugo explained in detail.
He was the only one who knew that Hugh was not just a vice president but Leon the chairman of
Cynthion Group.
Leon came to the western region partly because he wished to establish a branch here.
The Dagleshs only knew Hugh as the vice president and did not know his true identity. Hence there
was no way that they knew Leon planned to establish a branch in the western region.
So long as the Morrisons got ahead of the Daglesh to resolve the challenges of establishing a branch
they would be able to beat the Daglesh and secure the deal with Cynthion Group.
‘That’s a great idea!” Caleb and the elders were all overjoyed.
Though they did not know that Hugh was the chairman they were all experienced to be able to tell that
Hugo’s plan was perfect.
However upon further consideration Caleb noticed something off.
