Chapter 2658

“How can this happen?” Contrary to the Dagleshs’ reaction Caleb Hugo and the others were all

shaken.

Considering the effort Hugo put into it the right to work with Cynthion Group was supposed to be the

Morrisons’ by right. To Caleb’s bewilderment his and the elders’ stubbornness in gaining more profit

and Jayden’s foolishness pushed Leon over the edge.

As a result they lost the chance to work with Cynthion Group and Caleb was devastated.

If Jayden was not his son he would have beaten him to death on the spot.

“It’s a shame. Who would’ve thought that Cynthion Group would choose to work with the Dagleshs?”

“The Dagleshs are so lucky to have taken this opportunity from the Morrisons.” “Yeah the Dagleshs

wouldn’t stand a chance if it weren’t for Mister Morrison’s foolishness”

The others sighed and looked at the Dagleshs enviously.

Though all Leon said was he would give the Dagleshs a chance anyone could tell that Leon gave up

on the Morrisons.

If everything went well and the Dagleshs prevented themselves from acting foolishly as Jayden did

they would likely be able to secure the deal.

With that conclusion in mind the others felt both disappointed and amused.

Unfortunately Cynthion Group decided to work with the Dagleshs instead of them.

At the same time Jayden’s foolishness affected them all. Now that he reaped what he sowed and cost

the Morrisons the right to work with Cynthion they were naturally going to mock him to vent their

frustration.

“Why you– Jayden’s expression darkened.

They were all just agreeing to his suggestion earlier. That was why he mentioned dividing the profit

equally to Leon. Yet they all turned their backs on him and blamed him for what happened.

Feeling wronged he was rendered speechless and could only remain silent.

“Alright. Elder Daglesh Mister Daglesh please proceed to my room for further discussion” Leon said

calmly before heading toward his room without hesitation.

“Wait! Hugh you can’t leave!” Renee called out nervously.

“What? Miss Morrison is there something else you need?” Leon stopped and turned to look at her.

“You you mentioned that you would prioritize US as your partnership. How can you go back on your

own words?” Renee bit her lip and stared at Leon with displeasure.

“I’m going back on my own words? Sure I did mention that I will prioritize the Morrisons but I’ve never

promised to work with you no matter what! Besides the Morrisons’ greed knows no bounds and you’ve

shown no sincerity in reaching an agreement. You simply keep fooling me around and now you claim

that I’m the one going back on my words. Don’t you think that’s ridiculous?” Leon laughed angrily.

When a wife cheats on their husband and gets pregnant with another man's child, the husband will usually chase her out of the home and ask for a divorce. However, Leon Wolf's situation is a little different. He is 26 years old this year, and he has been married for three years. He lives with his wife and her family who treat him like a slave most of the time. One day, his wife told him that she got pregnant, and he was chased out of the home. Filled with resentment and humiliation over how he had been treated, he found himself wandering all the way to the cemetery, where he saw two men attempting to assassinate a beautiful woman. In his bid to save her, Leon received a fatal stab wound on his chest and dragged one of the men with him into a nearby river… Leon did not resurface even though the woman had waited for a long time, so she believed that Leon had probably drowned. Before she left, she called out optimistically to the river, "My name is Iris Young. If you're still alive, come and see me sometime…" Beneath the water's surface, a soft voice said, "Iris… What a beautiful name…"
