“Dad could it be him?’ Felton thought of something and asked hesitantly.
“Him? Are you talking about the Southern Boss?” The Western Boss got his message immediately and
his expression darkened.
“Yeah! The Rainbow Flower is a heavenly herb that can get martial artists in the Almighty State past
the barriers of their training. It would be really useful to the Southern Boss. He isn’t from this region and
now that he is alone he doesn’t need to fear the Dragon Corps. Based on everything I feel like he is
probably the one who did it” Felton explained briefly.
“Well you’re right. It’s quite possible that he did this.” The Western Boss narrowed his eyes darkly.
When the Southern Boss learned that Jaxon possessed a heavenly herb the look on his face was
quite strange.
The Western Boss detected it but did not think much of it at the time.
However after what happened Felton’s analysis caused him to suspect the Southern Boss.
Firstly the Rainbow Flower could get martial artists in the Almighty State past the bottleneck of their
training and the Southern Boss wanted it.
On top of that the Southern Boss fled to the western region mainly because he was wanted by the
Dragon Corps.
To hide his track it would be natural for him to hide his identity and take the Rainbow Flower away.
Most importantly the Southern Boss was in the Advanced Almighty State and had no power in the
Western region.
Even if he was caught committing murder he had no concern about getting his family in trouble or
provoking the Dragon Corps.
With his formidable strength the Dragon Guards would find dealing with him challenging.
In the worst-case scenario he could simply leave the western region.
Hence he did not fear the Dragon Corps as much as the other families.
All these pointed to the Southern Boss as the biggest suspect.
“Damn him! I took him in yet he did this behind my back. I’m going to confront him and demand an
explanation.” Realization dawned on the Western Boss and he stormed out in rage.
As the ruler of the underground community he did his share of crimes so he did not see any issue with
the crimes the Southern Boss committed.
What truly enraged him was that the Southern Boss took the Rainbow Flower.
Since the Rainbow Flower could get martial artists in the Almighty state past the bottleneck of their
training he was determined to obtain it and decided to pressure Caleb into selling it to him. 1
In his mind the Rainbow Flower was already his by right yet the Southern Boss schemed behind his
back and took it.
The Southern Boss was too ruthless and would surely alert the Dragon Corps. Once they found out
that he was responsible the Western Boss himself would get into trouble for hiding the Southern Boss.
This would put the Fermers at risk.
He took the Southern Boss out of kindness yet he took the Rainbow Flower and created a problem
that would potentially affect the Fermers.
This was practically a trap and the Western Boss was furious.
