“Grandpa we can’t delay this any further! There are a lot of families competing with US right now. Let’s
go and meet with Mister Wolf! We can’t let others get ahead of us!” Hugo was worried about the
partnership and immediately changed the subject.
“Yeah let’s go and meet with Mister Wolf!” Caleb nodded and strode toward the room along with the
others.
“The Morrisons are here” The others were shocked and all focused on Caleb.
During the bouquet the night before Leon mentioned that he would be prioritizing the Morrisons as
potential partners.
They only came this morning to meet with Leon because they wanted to go around the Morrisons. To
their surprise Caleb came here in person before they had the chance to meet with Leon.
This caught them off guard.
“Miss Morrison I didn’t expect to meet you again so soon!” Jensen who stood at the very front
greeted them kindly.
Though the Morrisons and the Dagleshs were both powerful families their territories differed and they
were not all that close.
However after the event of the night before Jensen fought alongside Renee against Felton to protect
Leon.
This brought them closer so he took the initiative to greet Renee.
“Yeah! Mister Daglesh I didn’t expect to see you here.” She paused and said “Hugh has already said
that Cynthion Group will prioritize US as partners. Don’t you think it’s a bit inappropriate for you all to
come here and speak with Hugh in private?”
Renee was slightly displeased that the others wanted to compete with the Morrisons.
“Well” Jensen was rendered speechless.
After all what Renee said was the truth.
Leon already informed everyone that he would prioritize the Morrisons as potential partners and it was
rather unethical for the other families to go around the Morrisons and seek Leon’s private audience.
Therefore he could not quite argue with Renee’s point.
“Miss Morrison I’m afraid I don’t agree with that. Mister Wolf only said that he would prioritize the
Morrisons as potential partners. He never said he would work with you. So long as you haven’t reached
an agreement with him we all have the right to compete against each other!” Elder Daglesh said
calmly.
“Yeah Elder Daglesh is right! whoever has what it takes will get the deal. It’s a fair competition and the
one who wins gets to work with Cynthion Group!”
The others agreed along.
“But” Renee was rendered speechless.
She knew that people were driven by their gain and it was normal for other families to compete for a
chance to work with Cynthion Group.
Indeed she had no right to stop them.
