“Well” Hugo froze and found himself rendered speechless because Jayden was right.
In terms of effect the premium Energy Nurturing Pills worked similarly with rare herbs.
Though he knew that the Energy Nurturing Pills could also enhance chances for a breakthrough it was
not certain and he did not witness it before. Hence he could not quite argue with Jayden.
On top of that Caleb and the elders supported Jayden and were dead set on fighting for more profit.
No matter how hard Hugo tried he could not get Caleb to agree to the deal.
With Jayden’s interference things kept getting more complicated.
Feeling devastated he did not know what to do.
Just as he fell into despair something unexpected happened.
A melodious voice rose and Renee hurried inside. “You don’t know the half of it!” “Renee why are you
here?” Hugo was slightly shocked.
Renee was too young and held no power in the family business. Hence Renee was never invited to
the family meeting nor did she want to be.
This was the very first time she showed up in the meeting and the fact that she barged in while the
meeting was going on caught Hugo by surprise.
“Hugo I came to report something important to Grandfather!” Renee said.
After attending Jaxon’s bouquet the night before plenty of people witnessed the effect of the
alchemical pills and they all fought to work with Cynthion Group.
She knew about this and was smart enough to tell that this was not a good thing for the Morrisons.
She instantly realized that she had to report this to Caleb and get him to seal the deal with Cynthion
Group before others did.
Unfortunately after what happened with Felton the night before she got home late and woke up later
than usual so she did not have the chance to tell Caleb what happened.

“Grandfather Hugo is right! We can’t drag this on any further! If other families get ahead of US and
partner with Cynthion Group it’ll be too late for us” Renee said hastily.
Just as she was about to explain what happened the night before Jayden interrupted her. “Renee
what is wrong with you and Hugo? Are you two under Mister Wolfs spell or something? Why would you
work together to make US accept such unfavorable terms? Are you trying to be traitors that sacrifice
this family’s gain for Cynthion Group?” Jayden said mockingly.
