“Dad what should we do now? The Southern Boss is one of the strongest martial artists in both the
Western and southern regions. If he is responsible for all these we won’t be able to retaliate” Romeo
said.
The Peaks were hardly the most powerful families and the strongest martial artist in the family stopped
at the SemiAlmighty State which was miles away from the Advanced Almighty State the Southern
Boss was in.
Naturally Roman and the elders agreed as well.
They all know that the Peaks could not rival the Southern Boss in strength and going after him for
revenge would only cause the downfall of their own family.
Instantly their hearts sank in despair.
“Elder Peaks don’t worry! Back in the southern region the Southern Boss was found working with one
of the eight criminals and because of that he is already wanted by the Dragon Corps. Now that he has
committed murder again in the western region I’m sure that the Dragon Guards in both the southern
and western regions would go after him” Leon consoled them.
“Mister Wolf is right. Elder Peaks don’t worry. The Southern Boss has taken innocent lives so the
Dragon Corps will bring him to justice!” Howard nodded.
“Sure! Thank you Howard!”
The Peaks were relieved to hear this.
Though the Peaks had no power in seeking revenge against the Southern Boss there were plenty of
formidable martial artists in the Advanced or even Peak Almighty State.
The Southern Boss could not possibly rival them.
So long as the Dragon Guards hunt the Southern Boss down the Peaks could consider the debt paid
and the guards that sacrificed would be avenged.
“Alright this matter concerning the Sotuehrn Boss is important so I have to report it to my captain.
Mister Wolf Elder Peaks if this is all we shall leave now” Howard said.
However before he could leave Fletcher stopped him.
“Hang on! Howard I need to speak with Mister Wolf” Fletcher turned to look at Leon. “Mister Wolf
would you like to come with us to the western branch office? It’s a rare opportunity that you came so I
have to host you!” he invited earnestly.
He was thankful that Leon saved his life before and wanted to invite Leon back with him so he could
thank Leon properly.
“Fletcher you” Howard frowned in displeasure.
The Dragon Corps was a special organization that governed martial artists and ordinary people were
not supposed to step foot into the office.
It was rather inappropriate for Fletcher to invite an outsider to the office but Howard was close with
Fletcher and did not want to embarrass him now that he already invited Leon.
