“Jaxon who did this?”
Roman and the others turned to look at Jaxon their gaze resentful.
Not only did the culprit murder a few guards they came close to taking Jaxon’s life as well.
The Feaks developed a deep resentment for the culprit and once they found out who did this they
would avenge the dead no matter the cost.
“I don’t know! The culprit wore a mask so I can’t identify him. Judging from his figure and voice he’s
probably a middle-aged man though” Jaxon said weakly.
“What?”
“You don’t know who did this?”
“Damn it! How can this be?”
The Feaks’ hearts sank as they assumed Jaxon would know who was responsible.
None of them expected the culprit to be so careful and took special care to hide their faces and
identities.
This caught them by surprise.
Though Jaxon could identify from the figure that the culprit was a middle-aged man there were plenty
of people who fit that profile in all the families in the western region.
They could not possibly find the culprit with so little information. However if they could not figure out
the culprit they could never seek revenge.
Frustrated their expressions darkened and they were all rendered helpless.
“Elder Feaks don’t get frustrated. Mister Jaxon may not know who did it but I do” Leon said.
“You do?”
“Really?”
Mister Wolf are you messing with us?” Roman and the others were all shocked.
If the victim himself could not identify the culprit it seemed odd for Leon to know.
Neither of them could figure out why Leon knew about this.
On top of that they once asked Leon who the culprit was when they first arrived at the crime scene. At
the time Leon clearly stated that he did not know.
That was why they mistook Leon for the culprit. However Leon now claimed he knew who did it.
His statements seemed to contradict each other and they were all confused.
Instantly they all wondered if Leon was telling the truth.
“It’s true! When I treated Mister Jaxon and inspected his wounds I found some leads! If I’m not
mistaken the Southern Boss is likely the one who did this” Leon said.
“The Southern Boss?”
“Him?”
The Feaks were all stunned by Leon’s words.
The Southern Boss was one of the major players in the underground community and long reached the
Advanced Almighty State so his strength was almost unrivaled in both the southern and western
regions.
They all knew about this and heard of the Southern Boss’s name.
To their surprise the Southern Boss was the person who murdered to steal the Rainbow Flower.
This completely caught them by surprise. However just as they were about to comment they realized
that something was off.
