In the next moment Romeo walked over to Leon and kneeled beside Roman.
Seeing as the two of them kneeled the two elders followed as well.
Though this was mainly Romeo’s fault they helped and were equally guilty.
Upon learning the truth they both felt ashamed and wished to be forgiven.
“What are you doing?” Leon’s expression darkened.
Though frustrated that he was falsely accused he could not stand having elderly men kneeling before
him for forgiveness.
Instantly he could not decide how he felt.
“Mister Wolf this is my fault. I lost my mind and thought that you killed Jaxon. I’ve recognized my
mistakes now. Please find it in your heart to forgive me” Romeo said and bowed his head earnestly.
A man should own up to what he did.
He initially thought that he lost his son and lost his composure which came close to causing such a
mess.
Now that the truth was out he kneeled and apologized sincerely.
“Yeah!”
“Mister Wolf we didn’t mean to wrong you. Please forgive us ” the elders and Roman pleaded.
“You guys! Forget it! This ends here. Just get up!” Leon hesitated and sighed.
Because he did not suffer any injury and the Feaks were sincere when they apologized he decided to
not press the matter further.
“That’s great.”
“Thank you for being so forgiving Mister Wolf” The Feaks were overjoyed that Leon was willing to
forgive them.
Though Leon did not exactly say those words it was clear that he did not intend to press further which
meant he forgave them.
Relieved they all stood.
“I knew that this was a misunderstanding. I was right after all!” Fletcher laughed.
He did not believe that Leon would commit such terrible crimes and was relieved that the
misunderstanding was cleared.
“Damn it!” Contrary to Fletcher’s reaction Howard’s expression darkened. “Elder Feaks what’s wrong
with you all? How can you seek help from us before confirming the truth and accusing an innocent
person? This is way out of line. If Fletcher didn’t stopped me in time I would have
taken an innocent life!” he snarled.
Due to what the Feaks said Howard mistook Leon for a criminal and tried to eliminate Leon twice.
Upon learning that Leon was not the culprit he felt misled and shot the Feaks a dark look.
