“The effect of the Sun Pills may have been a lie!
The two elders behind Roman nodded in agreement as they did not believe in what Leon promised as
well.
Upon seeing what happened to Jaxon and the guards their doubts simply intensified.
Naturally there was a chance that someone else committed this crime. However most of the guests
from the bouquet last night were all from prestigious families. Hence there was no way that they could
risk committing murder and enraging the Dragon Corps just to obtain the Rainbow Flower.
Leon on the other hand was different.
They did not know much about Leon but knew that he was an outsider with no family in the western
region. Hence he may not fear the Dragon Corps.
There was a chance that the Sun Pills were just a scam and Leon was the only person alive at the
crime scene which provided enough evidence to make him the suspect and they could not think of
anyone else who would do such a thing.
“What a load of nonsense! The Sun Pills work exactly as I claimed! I’ve already told you that I’m not the
culprit-” Furious Leon tried to defend himself only to be interrupted by Romeo.
“Kid don’t bother arguing with us! You killed Jaxon and you will pay with your own life today! Prepare
to die!” Romeo roared firmly believing that Leon was responsible for Jaxon’s death.
Without hesitation he launched a sequence of attacks at Leon to eliminate him on the spot.
“…” Roman fell into silence. After listening to what Romeo and the elders said he started to believe
that Leon was the culprit as well. Hence he did not stop Romeo.
Damn it! A bunch of stubborn old men!” Leon was livid.
He came sincerely to trade the Sun Pills for the Rainbow Flower only to find Jaxon and the guards in
an accident. On top of that the Feaks insisted that he was the person responsible.
Despite his good-tempered nature he was beginning to get provoked.
Facing Romeo’s attacks he stopped dodging and countered.
“Know your place kid!” Romeo narrowed his eyes sharply.
He did not know Leon’s true strength but assumed he was weak judging from his age.
Leon’s attempt to face him head-on was practically suicidal and he was not about to miss this
opportunity.
Increasing the force of his attacks Romeo prepared to finish Leon off with a single blow.
