“Southern Boss what’s wrong with you? Leon is just in the Advanced Emperor State so why are you so scared of him?” The Western Boss was shocked.
He knew that the Southern Boss had long reached the Advanced Almighty State and his strength was almost unrivalled in the western and southern regions.
Leon on the other hand was merely in the Advanced Emperor State according to Felton which was miles away from the power level the Southern Boss was in.
The Southern Boss was once a powerful figure yet appeared to fear Leon and this baffled the Western Boss.
“Just? Western Boss you are underestimating Leon. He may only be in the Advanced Emperor State he has many tricks up his sleeves and he is far more formidable than you imagine. No one can defeat him…” the Southern Boss said in fear.
All the tricks Leon pulled when he fought the Southern Boss had deeply traumatized the Southern Boss and he could not help feeling scared even just from recalling what happened.
“He is just a brat. How formidable can he be? It’s not like he can defeat someone on a higher level! I think he and the Thompsons just gave you a good scare!” The Western Boss scoffed in contempt.
There were great gaps between levels and no matter how talented one was defeating someone of a higher level would be impossible.
Since both the Southern Boss and Felton confirmed that Leon was merely in the Advanced Emperor State Leon could merely defeat others at the same level or perhaps ones in the Peak Emperor State at best.
Yet the Southern Boss claimed that there was no one who could defeat Leon.
He simply took it as a joke and did not believe what the Southern Boss said.
He merely assumed that the Southern Boss was traumatized by the downfall of his family and developed an irrational fear of Leon. He could not think of any other option.
“I…I’m telling the truth…” The Southern Boss’s face flushed.
He was once the ruler of the southern region underground community and an influential figure yet the Western Boss mocked him for fearing Leon and he felt slightly offended.
Just as he was about to go into the details of Leon’s strength he recalled something.
He came to seek refuge with the Western Boss to get help in going against Leon and the Thompsons and rescue Rodney.
However there was no way that the Western Boss would easily agree to going up against a powerful family like the Thompsons.
If he told the Western Boss the truth about Leon the
Western Boss would never agree to help once he learnt what Leon was capable of.
This would defeat his purpose.
With that thought in mind he swallowed his words.
