“Bring it on!” Leon scoffed.
Ignoring Renee’s words he took a step forward and pointed a finger ahead. Executing the Earthly Plunder he faced Felton’s attack head-on.
With his current level of strength he merely needed to use his spiritual energy to handle Felton who was in the Intermediate Emperor State.
However since Felton was rather formidable Leon decided to train himself with Felton to enhance his familiarity with the sage technique.
“It’s over. Hugh has lost his mind!” Renee Jensen and Ariel la were all stunned.
Renee who just reminded Leon to dodge the attack and wait for her rescue did not expect Leon to ignore her warning and face Felton directly.
To make matters worse Leon was doing so with just one finger. This was practically suicidal.
If he were not mistaken Leon would at least end up suffering grave injuries once Felton’s attack reached its target.
There was no other way this would end.
Instantly all three of them were overwhelmed by concern for Leon.
“This arrogant brat must have a death wish!” Contrary to their reaction Jacob observed the scene with excitement and looked at Leon as though he was a fool.
He knew that Felton already reached the Intermediate Emperor State and even when Renee and Jensen worked together they could not defeat Felton.
Hence there was no way that Leon who was in the Advanced Overlord State could defeat Felton.
If Leon listened to the advice of Renee and Jensen to run before Felton got here he might have been able to escape.
However not only did Leon refuse to run but he also arrogantly tried to fend off Felton with a finger.
This was foolish of him.
Since Leon was considered Renee’s boyfriend Jacob was jealous of him and would be pleased if Felton killed Leon.
“Die!” Felton sneered and narrowed his eyes maliciously when he saw that Leon was not dodging.
Like the others he did not think that Leon had what it took to withstand his powerful blow.
On top of that Leon foolishly thought he could do so with a finger. From Felton’s perspective Leon was simply asking to be killed and he was not going to show any mercy.
With that thought in mind he increased the strength of his attack and intended to destroy Leon in one go. That way Renee and Jensen would not have any chance of rescuing
Leon.
However reality was cruel and what happened next shook him and the others.
