“You are the one who should know your place!” Leon scoffed and leaped into the air to dodge the attack.
Then he turned to land a powerful kick that aimed for the guard’s neck.
“How swift!” The guard was shocked by the powerful true energy Leon wielded.
He initially thought that he could apply great damage with the element of surprise. To his bewilderment Leon was swift enough to dodge his attack and launch a counterattack.
Leon’s movements were smooth with no excessive moves which surprised him.
The guard was still on the momentum of his initial attack and had no time to dodge. At the very last moment he rolled off the ground to distance himself from Leon.
However Leon’s attack had a wide range and the guard was one step too late.
Though he managed to avoid taking the blow on his neck Leon’s true energy struck in in the chest and he was instantly sent flying.
Baam!
Paling the guard spat blood and sustained internal injuries like the other guard.
“What? How is that possible?” Felton was shocked and could not believe what he was seeing.
To his knowledge Leon was just a vice president of the Cynthion Group who was not from any influential family.
This time the guards he took with him were both in the Advanced Overlord State making them fairly formidable amongst the younger generation.
Apart from some of the direct descendants of powerful families these guards’ strength was unrivaled.
Considering Leon’s age Felton assumed that the guards could easily take care of him. To his bewilderment the guards ended up getting defeated instead.
This was so surreal that he was shaken to the core.
Naturally he was not the only one who was shocked. Renee Jensen and Ariella all felt the same way.
Due to Leon’s humble background and young age they all assumed that Leon was weak or not even a martial artist.
At the very least there was no way that he could survive the guards’ attack.
To their surprise Leon turned out to be a rather formidable martial artist who defeated the guards with ease.
This caught them by surprise and they instantly realized why Leon remained composed the entire time. Leon was never one to be bullied without fighting back and they all underestimated him.
