“You are just in the Advanced Overlord State and you dare to challenge me? Know your place!” Leon scoffed.
Just as he was about to fight back he recalled something.
After defeating the Southern Boss he and his confidantes all trained and made progress in their training.
Leon’s true energy reached the Advanced Overlord State and he was close to reaching the Peak Overlord State.
Based on the energy he detected from the guards they were in the Advanced Overlord State and slightly weaker than him.
Despite all the tricks he had up his sleeves he only needed to use his true energy to take care of the guards and there was not even a need to use spiritual energy.
On top of that he mainly focused on training his spiritual energy so far and neglected his growth in true energy.
Since he was now facing enemies of a similar level he decided this was the perfect opportunity for him to gain more experience and reach the Peak Overlord State as soon as possible.
With that thought in mind he did not use his spiritual energy and launched two waves of true energy at the two guards.
Baam! Baam!
Following two loud noises their attacks clashed.
Though Leon’s true energy was on the same level as the guards his physique was incredibly strong after all that he went through.
Along with the treasures he possessed he was practically invincible so the guards could not possibly beat him.
As their attacks clashed Leon remained still while the two guards were forced to back away under the pressure of Leon’s true energy.
Leon took the opportunity to attack and charged at the guard that was closest to him.
“Oh no!” The guard paled.
He just steadied himself and was in no position to dodge Leon’s attack.
In a rush he launched a desperate counterattack in an attempt to stop Leon.
Baam!
As they clashed Leon’s true energy tore through the guard’s defense and slammed against his chest sending him flying.
As soon as the guard landed he spat blood and slumped on the ground.
“Know your place brat!” The other guard snapped out of it and launched an attack from behind Leon.
Based on the earlier exchange he could tell that Leon was on the same power level as him. Now that Leon was attacking the other guard his back was left in the open and
this was the perfect chance for the guard to attack.
Not missing the opportunity the guard charged forward without hesitation knowing that he would be able to avenge his comrade.
Unfortunately he underestimated Leon.
From Springfield City to the southern region Leon experienced different battles and near-death experiences. In terms of strength and skills he rivaled the likes of the Southern Boss so there was no way that this guard could harm him.
