“Kid! How dare you poison me?!” The Poisonwielder gaped and realization dawned on him that the daggers stabbed into his palm must have contained extremely powerful poison.
Not daring to wait he immediately jabbed his compression points around his shoulder in an attempt to stop the poison from spreading.
However the Deadly Veratrum poison was far too powerful and even when he succeeded in sealing his circulation around his arm he only managed to slow down the spreading of the poison.
“What a powerful poison!” The Poisonwielder’s expression darkened and gasped.
He thought that Leon was foolish for daring to face him directly and did not realize until this very moment that he made a fool of himself.
Leon took the chance of the Poisonwielder’s attack and poisoned him instead and the Poisonwielder felt humiliated.
“The Poisonwielder has been poisoned? How is that possible?!”
Jaws dropped as Fletcher and the others gasped in disbelief.
Like the Poisonwielder they all thought that Loen was acting on impulse and did not expect Leon to poison the Poisonwielder instead.
It was all so surreal that none of them could understand how Leon accomplished such a thing.
The Poisonwielder immediately pulled out a few antidote pills and swallowed them.
The Deadly Veratrum poison was extremely lethal and there was almost nothing one could do to counter its effect but as an expert in poison the Poisonwielder carried all kinds of antidotes with him
along with the antidote for the Reaper’s Breath.
Most of the antidotes he carried contained Ganoderma and Licorice and though they could not dissolve the Deadly Veratrum poison they could suppress its effect for a time.
“Fletcher the Poisonwielder has been poisoned and this is our chance to take him out! Surround him and don’t let him get away!” Leon roared.
Fletcher and the others snapped out of it and Fletcher immediately commanded “That’s right! Let’s all attack and take him down!”
Following Fletcher’s and Leon’s command the Dragon Guards from both the southern and western regions moved into formation with some standing behind the Poisonwielder to stop him from running while others launched their attack at the Poisonwielder alongside Scott and Randall.
“Do you think that you people have what it takes to take me down? Know your places!” The Poisonwielder sneered and leaped into the air before throwing a handful of transparent powder toward the Dragon Guards.
“Damn it!”
“It’s the Reaper’s Breath!”
“Hold your breath and back away!”

Fletcher and the others paled and swiftly backed away from the Reaper’s Breath but the powder was dispersed by the wind and soon filled the air above the entire courtyard.
Though they were all prepared it was impossible for them to defend themselves against the Reaper’s Breath.
