Raphael could not help but look over in disdain when he saw Seth trying to stand up to the Black Gorilla.

“Alright today’s auction is ending! Everyone please go home!” The Black Gorilla announced. After that he turned around to leave without sparing Seth a second glance.
“Mister Black Gorilla please wait!” At that moment a sudden voice was heard. An old man who was close to sixty and dressed in attire that made him look like a farmer hurried over.
“Old man who are you?” The Black Gorilla stopped and measured the old man.
“Sir I’m a treasure hunter. Recently me and two other friends went deep into the ancient ruins in the mountains and found a treasure. I wanted to sell it to the black market. You can even help me auction it off”
The old man explained briefly before taking out a red bag.
“Treasure?”
Leon Raphael and the others were just about to leave. The moment they heard there was treasure all of them stopped in surprise.
After that they looked at the old farmer. The farmer carefully opened up his bag to produce a green bead the size of a fist.
It was unclear what the green bead was made out of. It looked like jade but not. It looked like a gem but it was not. There was a shiny outer layer but it had very low transparency. It looked like something made by a machine. It was unassuming.
“Old man what treasure is this? What can it do?” The Black Gorilla asked.
“I don’t know” The old man shook his head.
He and two of his friends spent a great deal of effort to obtain the bead. After that they looked into it for a few days but never found out how to activate the bead or even its effects. Otherwise there was no way he would have tried to sell a treasure like that so easily!
“How much do you want to sell it for?” The Black Gorilla asked.
“I was thinking about nine million dollars” The man said after some hesitation.
“What? You’re thinking about making so much from such an unassuming bead? Do you think we’re idiots here?!” The Black Gorilla felt very annoyed.
“I don’t-”
“Sir please believe me. We managed to find this bead in a cave residence of some ancient hero. Even though I don’t know what it can do I can assure you it’s a treasure” The old man said sincerely.
“What kind of treasure is that?!”
“I feel like it’s just a Luminous Pearl!”
At that moment one of the men dare started to laugh.
“Yes that’s true it does look like one!”
“It’s probably even a man–made one. There’s no way it’s natural!”
The others nodded and agreed.
In ancient times technology was not as advanced so Luminous Pearls were quite expensive. They were considered prized possessions.
Natural ones were incredibly valuable as well!
However with the advancements in modern society research revealed that Luminous Pearls were just made with a relatively rare kind of stone. It was possible to manufacture it through science. So the price of it fell drastically!
Of course natural ones were still quite valuable. There could be sold for hundreds of thousands but natural ones were usually dim and gray.
