If it was an ice–clear jadeite then the price would only be a few million at most. If they continued to bid there was a chance they would not be able to make it back!
Compared to that it was better for them to let the middle–aged man pick up a strong profit. Otherwise they might make an enemy for no reason!
As for Leon he knew that the green jadestone was not going to be worth that little. It was probably a few times more!
However he did not care about that little amount of profit so he did not want to stop anyone from making money.
“That’s great!”
Seeing everyone give up on their bidding the middle–aged man was elated. He let out a happy smile.
However before he could even properly celebrate his victory a cold voice was suddenly heard.
“I’m bidding three million dollars!” Willie said coldly and arrogantly.
With his position within the Libertons he would not have bothered trying to fight over those meager profits.
However he came to the store this time to buy some jade to carve out as a gift.
The green jadestone was probably going to be something of very good quality which suited his wishes just fine!
Other than that Leon continuously opened a Four–Colored Jade and a royal purple. Both of them were incredibly valuable!
Now that Leon chose a third stone it could be something even better than that!
Then he would be able to make a huge profit and steal Leon’s thunder. It would be a way for him to vent his frustrations at losing out on the royal purple!

The middle–aged man looked very angry at the fact that his profits were just cut off.
However Willie was a rich and powerful man. He was the scion of the Libertons so Willie was not someone he could afford to offend!
Even if he was unhappy he was forced to grit his teeth and bear with it!
