“Leon, you idiot! Even if you don’t care about yourself, what about me and Iris? If you die, what are we supposed to do?” Cynthia muttered.
Cynthia and Iris paled in despair.
All the people who befriended Leon including Ruth the Youngs and the Pooles were all devastated.
“Destroy him!”
On the opposite end the Fields all stared at the stage viciously in excitement.
Leon was the Fields‘ biggest enemy and they were dying to get rid of him. Seeing how Leon was about to meet his demise the Fields were overjoyed.
“Arrogant little brat! I shall teach you how powerful the Lapwoods are!” Sean sneered in contempt as he looked at Leon.
Inside his mind he was already planning how he would torture Leon into handing the method over; once the Lapwoods obtained the Advanced Power Methods their influence and strength would escalate.
“Baam!”
Under the watchful eyes of the audience Leon’s fist collided with Solomon’s attack. As the others predicted Solomon’s overpowering energy tore through Leon’s spiritual energy and the aftermath of the attack darted
toward Leon’s chest.
Leon came prepared and took the attack in his chest.
If it was in the past he would suffer severe injuries from such a blow but he already put on the Mirror of Sovereign underneath his clothes.
The Mirror of Sovereign was a defensive tool that could fend off any attack from martial artists of one level. higher than Leon and since Leon was in the Intermediate Overlord State any attack from martial artists in the Peak Overlord State or lower would have no impact on him at all.
Solomon was merely in the Advanced Overlord State and he could not penetrate the protection of the Mirror of Sovereign.
“Baam!”
Just then Leon took advantage of the second when Solomon ran out of energy from his initial attack and launched the Double Attack; his true energy in the Initial Innate State flooded out of his body and slammed itself against Solomon’s chest.
As though he was struck by lightning Solomon spewed blood and was instantly sent flying.
Judging from the pain that radiated throughout his body he realized Leon broke at least three or four of his ribs.
“Leon? Leon won?!”
“How’s that possible?!”
Cynthia Ruth and Iris gaped.
Sean the Fields and everyone else were stunned. Their jaws dropped as their eyes widened in disbelief.
Knowing which level Leon was in they all thought that he would not rival Solomon in strength only to witness the exact opposite of what they anticipated happening before their eyes.
If they did not see it with their own eyes they would have never believed it to be true.
