He barely managed to fend off Walter’s attack with his spiritual energy and just as he was about to run out of spiritual energy he summoned his true energy at the Initial Innate State level which tore through Walter’s energy and darted toward his chest.

He never anticipated Leon to be capable of launching another attack when he ran out of energy. Walter tried to dodge but also exhausted his energy in the initial attack like Leon and could only watch as Leon’s true energy slammed against his chest.
Walter spat blood as he was sent flying. A sharp pain pierced through him and he immediately realized that he suffered severe internal injuries.
In truth Leon’s power level was merely at the Initial Innate State and he should have never been able to hurt Walter who was in the Intermediate Overlord State.
However as strong as Walter might be he was still made of blood and flesh. He was too old and took Leon’s Double Attack directly so it was normal that he was injured.
“H- How’s this possible?!”
Jaws dropped around them as everyone gaped at Leon in disbelief.
None of them ever expected Leon would triumph over Walter in power and manage to injure Walter in one single move.
Denzel who waited for Leon to be defeated so that he could attack Leon while he was weak gaped at the sight. Since Walter did not manage to defeat Leon he had no chance of attacking Leon.
Meanwhile on the other end.
George already leaped into the air to rush to Leon’s rescue but came close to falling back onto the ground when he saw how Leon defeated Walter within the blink of an eye.
He immediately backed away and rubbed his eyes in disbelief. “Leon beat Walter? Am I seeing this right?”
He knew that Leon only reached the Intermediate Overlord State recently and could hardly be as powerful as
Walter so George could not understand how Leon managed such sorcery.
