Impossible (1)
A cool, windy evening.
Choi Ki-seok was walking down the street with Jeong Seol-hwa in his arms.
The smiles never left the faces of the two people as they walked.
It’s an act that’s so ordinary that most couples find it boring, but that wasn’t the case for these two.
Because we were in a long-distance relationship, every little moment we had together was precious.
“It’s so nice to be here like this.”
Seolhwa Jeong leaned her head on his shoulder.
“That’s right. Heaven isn’t somewhere else. Heaven is where I am with you, Seolhwa.”
“Ouch. What is it? I feel it.”
“Even if you feel it, hold in. I mean it.”
“Then I’ll take a look.”
After a short while, the conversation ended and Jeong Seol-hwa began to cry.
“How long have you been in Korea?”
“I’m leaving in four days. I think I’ll rest until tomorrow, attend the symposium the day after, and then leave the country.”
“It’s tight. But aren’t you going to get scolded by other staff for meeting me for no reason?”
“Do you think so?”
Choi Ki-seok smiled and continued speaking.
“I knew that would happen, so I put you to sleep with soybean during the day. You’re probably still dying from a hangover, right?”
“Did you feed wheat to the staff?”
“Anyway, I’m here for a half symposium and half vacation, so I can have fun as I please. The important thing is that meeting you won’t be a problem.”
“Then I’m glad.”
“Is your father healthy?”
“Yes. After receiving treatment, he retired and is taking good care of his health.”
Choi Ki-seok was checking on Jeong Jin-myeong’s health through video calls every two months.
Fortunately, there have been no red flags so far.
If you take care of yourself and others, cancer will not recur.
While we were talking, we arrived at the restaurant.
The two ordered menus and touched each other’s hands.
The coupling ring reflected the light flowing from the ceiling, casting bright light into the world.
“Kiseok. Does Chaeyeon know?”
“Of course. He’s one of your close friends.”
“Chaeyeon got married last month?”
“really?”
“When I saw her in the dress at the ceremony, she looked really pretty. She looked happy with her husband.”
“Indeed, there will be more and more motivation to get married in the future.”
Choi Ki-seok looked at Jeong Seol-hwa’s expression and answered.
In the past, I would have cut off the conversation at this point without notice, but now it was different.
Thanks to my increased political power, I was able to find out what Jeong Seol-hwa’s intention was when she said these words.
“It’s a snowflake.”
Choi Ki-seok gently stroked Jeong Seol-hwa’s hand and continued speaking in a calm voice.
“There’s no need to be jealous. We’re going to get married anyway.”
Jeong Seol-hwa’s cheeks took on a ripe peach color due to his fastball.
“Well… that’s true, but…”
“When I finish my training at MHC and come back to Korea, I’ll propose then. We’ll say hello to each other as a family.”
“So quickly? I think you need more time. I have to find a hospital to work at in Korea and get used to it…” “I don’t want to make
you wait any longer. I want to make you my woman as soon as possible.”
“….”
Jeong Seol-hwa was unable to answer and averted his gaze.
If I made eye contact with him right now, I felt like my heart would explode with happiness.
Because this certainty was what she had always wanted.
“So, please just watch over me a little longer until the training is over. Can I ask you one last thing?”
“yes I’m fine.”
“For your information, keep in mind that all men except me are wolves.”
“From what I’ve seen, Ki-seok, do you think you’re the most wolf-like?”
Jeong Seol-hwa covered her mouth and laughed.
The conversation continued over food and wine. As it was our first meeting in six months, we had a lot to talk about.
How do you eat, what kind of patients do you meet, what are the personalities of your fellow staff members, etc.
A trivial and trivial conversation continued.
As a result, the void in our hearts that had longed for each other was slowly being filled.
As time passed, the two left the restaurant around midnight.
Today we had a plan to stay together until late at night.
“Sulhwa. Didn’t you drink too much?”
“It’s not a rule.”
Jeong Seol-hwa stumbled, making a shaky voice, and Choi Ki-seok helped her and took a taxi.
Eventually we arrived at the hotel.
Choi Ki-seok laid the intoxicated Jeong Seol-hwa on the bed and drank cold water.
‘There are days like this too.’
After taking a shower in the bathroom, I lay down next to her.
Jeong Seol-hwa fell into a deep sleep so that no one would notice even if someone was carrying her, and even that was lovely.
“good night.”
He gently stroked Jeong Seol-hwa’s head and put her to sleep.
But the more I thought about it, the more I had all kinds of random thoughts and my mind became restless and excited.
Ki-Seok Choi tosses and turns for a while and then counts the sheep that go over the fence.
“Actually… I’m not sleeping.”
With a playful voice, Jeong Seol-hwa hugged the waist of the man who was lying down.
“Are you sober already?”
“No? I wasn’t drunk to begin with.”
An unexpected word hit me in the back of the head.
Choi Ki-seok turned and stared at Jeong Seol-hwa with surprised rabbit eyes.
“I wasn’t drunk, but I was pretending to be drunk? Why?”
“Hehe. I suddenly remembered that time.”
“At that time?”
“Do you remember when you had a heart transplant and made a drinking date with Taeho?”
“There’s no way I couldn’t do it. You and the oriental medicine doctor saved your life with CPR while you were drinking in Gangnam. After that, you slept in your own room.”
“I remember it well. I remembered it while I was drinking wine earlier, so I tried it. You had the best sleep in the world, snoring with me next to you.”
“Ugh… then is this revenge?”
“It’s not like that. I just tried it because it reminded me of old times.”
Jeong Seol-hwa smiled brightly and kissed the back of his neck.
“Did you wash first? I’ll wash too.”
“okay.”
Eventually, Seol-Hwa Jeong, who had finished showering, came to me in her underwear.
Unlike usual, the underwear was hot.
The underwear was light purple and completely transparent.
Choi Ki-seok opened his mouth like a fool at her alluring appearance.
“If I had just slept, my Ki-seok would have cried out of frustration, right?”
“Tch. As soon as we arrived, you were drinking bottled water and crying.”
Choi Ki-seok sat on the edge of the bed, and Jeong Seol-hwa sat next to him.
A situation where no more words are needed.
The two people hugged each other and shared a deep kiss.
Hot breath tickling Jeong Seol-hwa’s lips and philtrum, soft as flower petals.
As the kiss deepened, my body became hotter.
Choi Ki-seok kissed Jeong Seol-hwa and gently touched her body.
As the skinship became stronger, Jeong Seol-hwa’s breathing became heavier and a faint moan escaped from her slightly opened mouth.
He continued kissing and caressing before laying Jeong Seol-hwa on the bed.
The ceiling light flows softly.
Below, Jeong Seol-hwa, wearing fishnet underwear, was looking up at her.
thud. thud. thud. thud.
At the sight of that attractive sight, my heart was beating wildly and my mind was blank.
Choi Ki-seok hugged her, surrendering himself to his boiling lust. I wanted to make my beloved lover completely my own.
* * *
“Uhm….”
Jeong Seol-hwa rubbed her eyes and got up from the bed.
While looking around with a blank expression, I noticed that Choi Ki-seok was not by my side.
Did he at least go to the bathroom?
Or maybe he was away due to urgent work?
While thinking about this and that, I checked my cell phone on my bedside table.
The current time is 6:30 am and I have to get ready for work.
‘Was it too much yesterday?’
Her cheeks turned bright red as she remembered last night.
As I spent a passionate night with Choi Ki-seok, I moaned louder than usual. I know that the hotel’s soundproofing is good, but I was embarrassed that the person next door might have heard the noise.
“Woke up?”
“Yeah. Just now. What were you doing?”
“Just this and that.”
Choi Ki-seok sat down next to her and patted her head.
Jeong Seol-hwa felt his touch and leaned on his shoulder.
It’s already been a few years since we started dating, but I still really liked Choi Ki-seok.
The excitement and freshness of the early days of dating still remained.
It’s to the point where I wonder if this is okay.
“Are you tired?”
“It’s okay. I’m not on duty like when I was Reggie.”
“I’m just saying this now, but your underwear looked amazing yesterday? I didn’t know you’d wear those.”
“Bah… idiot! That’s what you’re going to say now!”
“I’m complimenting you on how sexy and well-suited you are…”
Jeong Seol-hwa burst into laughter as she looked at Choi Ki-seok, who immediately looked sullen.
“But there’s no need to be discouraged again.”
“yes?”
“I can’t stop you anyway. Come here.”
Jeong Seol-hwa gently wrapped Choi Ki-seok’s head with both hands and held him in her arms.
“I really don’t want to go to work today. I want to be with you more.”
“so do i.”
In the silence, Choi Ki-seok escaped from her arms.
“Wash up and come out. I just ordered breakfast, so it should be here soon.”
“huh.”
After a while, the two people sat down at the table and faced each other.
Jeong Seol-hwa’s eyes widened as she scanned the table.
“What’s this?”
“Bukeot soup. I woke up earlier and bought it at the convenience store. Last time you came to America, I made seaweed soup for you. I wanted to treat you to something too.”
“thank you.”
Tears welled up in Jeong Seol-hwa’s eyes.
“You can’t be this moved. Then when you propose later, Seoul might be filled with your tears.”
“Is that so?”
“Just trust me.”
Jeong Seol-hwa filled her stomach with hotel breakfast and pollack soup prepared by Choi Ki-seok.
Perhaps it was because I ate warm soup that my heart felt warm.
After finishing their meal, the two soon went outside the hotel.
“Let’s go to Uijindae together.”
“You were with me all night, and now you have to see the staff’s faces. You can go alone.”
“But…”
“You don’t have to worry about me. I’ll take a good rest today and see my family when I have some free time.”
“okay.”
“love you.”
Seolhwa Jeong kissed his cheek and got into a taxi.
Choi Ki-seok watched the taxi moving away and started walking.
The hotel where Jeong Seol-hwa stayed and the hotel where the MHC staff were located were a ten-minute walk away.
The Uijin University symposium is tomorrow, so I had some free time until today.
However, it has been so long since I came to Korea that I still have a lot of work to do.
Choi Ki-seok stopped by a convenience store and entered the hotel room where Charles was.
“I’m here?”
Charles, sitting on the bed, stared at Choi Ki-seok.
Maybe it’s because of the hangover, but he feels like he’s aged a lot in just one day.
“Saw Mac. Isn’t this a joke? I drank it without knowing how to drink it and almost ended up saying hello to the Grim Reaper.”
“I told you to drink in moderation.”
“You can’t do that. When would you drink if it wasn’t a day like this?”
“Do you think it’s okay? Okay, take this.”
“What?”
Charles tilted his head as he looked at the can of drink Choi Ki-seok handed him.
Unlike ordinary drinks, the can had a rough exterior, and on one side was a middle-aged man with gray hair smiling brightly. As I looked at the man’s smile, my desire to drink disappeared.
“It’s called 007 and it’s a representative hangover relief drink in Korea.”
“I can’t help but sober up when I see people.”
Charles gathered his courage and took a drink. The taste of the sweet crab was surprisingly not bad.
“Have you tried contacting the professor?”
“Not yet. I’ve just come to my senses.”
“I’ll contact you.”
Choi Ki-seok called Katarina.
But she didn’t answer the phone, only there was a anxious ringtone.
Is there a problem?
Choi Ki-seok went straight to the room where Katarina was staying.
