La Mancha drew an arc by cutting the star’s blessing. Sgak! A red line appeared on his wrinkled neck. Ronan landed with a kick to his chest causing the old man’s head to rise into the air.
“inspiration?!”
The young man was astonished. His head bounced off and disappeared into the clouds. The death of a strong man who was once called the bloodbath of Aden was incredibly vain.
“Phew…I thought I was really screwed.”
Ronan on the other hand breathed a sigh of relief again. What the grumpy old man activated was definitely the blessing of the stars. It was the same one used by Brigia that tore Sarante in half.
‘If only she were half as strong… it’s scary to even imagine.’
Goosebumps ran up my spine. When I tried to move things almost got out of control. Having the protection of the stars was proof that he was a considerable powerhouse within Nebula Clage.
But the game has already been won. The old man’s body was lying on the wyvern’s back twitching. Ronan twisted his lips as he saw the blood gushing from the cross section.
“Well I’m sorry but what can I do?”
No matter how strong you were if you died it was over. Ronan kicked the body mercilessly. The corpse which had tripped on the saddle and was fluttering was soon swept away by the wind.
Even though the occupant was dead the wyvern showed no particular reaction. Ronan patted the wyvern’s back with his heel and grinned.
“The ride is good. “I guess they educated me well.”
“Fucking Fire Arrow!”
The young man raised his left hand and aimed it at Ronan. Combat was not his specialty but there was no other way. With a short chant a fiery arrow was fired towards Ronan. Ronan laughed as he held his sword in a circle.
“I’m glad I caught the old man first.”
Even at first glance it was a low-level magic. Ronan twisted his shoulder to dodge the arrow and swung his sword straight at his feet. Wedge! The sword energy flew in a straight line splitting the young man’s left arm vertically.
“Kaaaaaa!!”
The young man fell clutching his left arm. Ronan immediately jumped and moved to the wyvern where he was and simultaneously delivered a slash. Suddenly! The young man’s tattered left arm was cut off cleanly.
“Huh…!”
The young man’s consciousness was lost due to the unbearable pain. Once the caster was neutralized the madness that had been covering the Wyverns’ eyes disappeared. The wyvern carrying the young man suddenly twisted his body.
“Keeeeek!”
“Shit.”
Ronan urgently rammed La Mancha into the wyvern’s back. The wyvern who had been roaring in pain began to struggle even more violently. At that time the young man’s body which had been swaying as he lost control of the reins was thrown outward.
“no!”
Ronan quickly stretched out his hand but missed it by a narrow margin. It was the moment when the cloud was about to swallow the young man. His body which had been spinning and falling suddenly stopped. Ronan who understood the situation was delighted.
“Yes Asher! That’s it!”
“I got it!”
An invisible hand was holding the young man. It was Asher’s magic the Invisible Hand. He was still trembling clinging to the wyvern’s head. Ronan shouted.
“Good job pull it up!”
“Uh huh!”
Asher raised his clenched hand. He placed the limp body of the young man on top of the yellow wyvern.
The reason was unknown but the yellow wyvern the old man was riding maintained a peaceful flight trajectory even though the user had fainted. The red wyvern that was running wild while hanging Ronan roared again.
“Kihaaaaaak!”
“I hate you too man.”
Ronan who drew La Mancha launched himself. He landed on the back of a yellow wyvern that was flying downwards.
As soon as the red wyvern could shake Ronan off it flew out of the clouds. After catching his breath for a moment Ronan looked down at the young man and muttered.
“Fuck…it’s a baby.”
The young man whose left arm was cut off had not yet regained consciousness. Ronan plunged La Mancha into the young man’s right thigh.
“Uh-huh…!”
“shut up.”
It was the moment when the young man raised his upper body and was about to shout something. Ronan’s palm covered his mouth. Ronan squatted down and brought his face close to the young man.
“Hmmmm!”
“If you take your hand off you will blow obediently no matter what you were doing. Every time I fold it it becomes less fun. “Nod your head if you understand.”
Tears were flowing endlessly from the bloodshot eyes of the young man. After being silent for a moment he nodded. That was the moment Ronan removed his palm.
“Fuck you you bastard! “How dare you when something suddenly pops up…”
Ronan wordlessly twisted the La Mancha that pierced his thigh from side to side. Suddenly. The leg sliced like tofu disappeared into the clouds. The young man’s swearing instantly turned into a desperate scream.
“Hwaaaaa!”
“I said it wouldn’t be fun.”
I thought it was a good thing I didn’t cut off his right arm. He bent back the index finger of the young man who was about to faint.
Wow! The young man came to his senses with the sound of his bones breaking. Ronan broke two more of his fingers while covering his mouth. And then he removed his palm covering his mouth.
“I’ll tell you…! If I tell you it won’t work out…!”
Seeing as they even used polite language without ordering it felt quite sincere. Perhaps as Karaka said he may have the talent of an interrogator.
Ronan took a potion from his inner pocket and added a few drops to the young man’s affected area. This was a measure to prevent excessive bleeding.
“Tell me everything. “If you make a fuss you’ll end up with a body that can’t even clean poop on its own.”
“Yeah huh…I’ll tell you. “I’ll tell you everything…!”
The young man continued speaking in a sobbing voice. His name is Cardion. He said that he was Nebula Clazie’s monster trainer and was on a mission with two of his first friends.
“Wow originally the bitch who came with me was supposed to control the wyvern…ugh! “Some murderous bastard is spreading the smell of rotten fish…”
“Stop talking nonsense.”
He explained his current mission. He said that he and the woman controlled monsters including wyverns and that the old man who used the star’s protection on Ronan was in charge of escort. As Ronan expected it was a simple bait and trick that made the monsters on the ground run wild.
“What you expected is correct. The whole thing that made the monster run rampant was a trick. Wow I never thought this would get caught….”
Cardion continued to emphasize that what made the monsters run rampant was just a trick. Along with the fact that the real purpose was to attack the Romaira Mountain Road using wyverns. After finishing his explanation he repeatedly bowed his head and sobbed.
“It’s over… It’s all over… Please just take my life…”
Nebula Clazie’s mission was a failure. It was like that when I only heard Cardion’s words.
However the wrinkles between Ronan’s eyebrows did not go away. I felt like I was missing something important. Suddenly an object I had seen during the melee flashed through my mind.
“How on earth did you know…? “It was a plan that took several years to prepare…”
“hey.”
“…yes?”
“What are you hiding right now?”
Cardion’s pupils wavered for a moment. He desperately shook his head. Ronan continued speaking while aiming the tip of La Mancha’s sword at his neck.
“How exactly were you planning on destroying it?”
“Hehe… that’s right draw attention with monsters and attack the mountain road with wyverns…”
“Then what is this wyvern holding?”
“What do you mean by that….”
“Aser! “Bring me what’s stuck in the wyvern’s claws!”
“Uh huh…! Whoop!”
Asher carefully turned his head and was disgusted when he saw Cardion’s face. Asher had turned against Ronan ever since he began torturing him.
Asher used telekinesis to pull out the sphere held in the wyvern’s claws. Cardion’s eyes widened as he saw the sphere in front of him. Ronan said.
“What is this?”
“This…so….”
Cadion trailed off his horse. At that time Asher who was examining the sphere screamed. He knew most of the magic imprinted on the surface of the sphere.
“Hey Iik… It’s a cannon explosion spell Ronan! Lieutenant: Thirty magic spells are engraved on it!”
“Holy shit.”
“It’s a structure that explodes when hit by a pendulum or over time!”
La Mancha danced. Cardion’s right arm fell from his body. Ronan growled as he stomped on the neck of Cadion who was writhing in pain.
“Did I tell you not to make a fuss or not?”
“Damn the rain! “It’s almost done!”
Cardion struggled. Ronan kicked him in the stomach to silence him. Suddenly the clouds covering all directions dispersed and the panoramic view of the Lomira Mountains unfolded before my eyes. Ronan twisted his lips.
“shit”
As a rule of thumb it would take about five minutes to reach the mountain road. Dang-dang- The sound of alarm bells was ringing in Marbas down there. It seemed like they had found the wyvern they were riding.
“Uh hahaha! Still this is enough! “We will all die together you idiots!”
Cardion burst into laughter. Still I was able to get this far thanks to taking my time. He knew the power of the spells imprinted on the sphere. Even if it could not completely destroy the Roma mountain road it would have been enough to destroy the nearby Marvas.
“That kind of thing…!”
The magic circle engraved on the sphere was blinking as if it would explode at any moment. Asher’s face turned pale. Ronan who was thinking while touching his chin opened his mouth.
“Asher. “I’m just saying this because I’m confused but what’s engraved here is also magic right?”
“That’s right…?”
“Okay then.”
Suddenly Ronan swung La Mancha. Suddenly! The sphere split in half with a cheerful sound. A girlish scream burst from Asher’s mouth.
“Kyaaaaaa! “What have you done…?”
But nothing happened. The blinking light of the magic circle went out.
Ronan delivered several more slashes. The sphere cut into dozens of pieces lost its shape and shattered. Cardion’s eyes widened as he watched the scene.
“That kind of thing…! how…?”
“Because my constitution is like this.”
Ronan scratched his head. He knew from his past life experience that his abilities worked even on magic circles. Cardion’s face was twisted in despair. Suddenly a large shadow blocked the wyvern’s path.
“I wondered where it had gone but it was here.”
“Hey!”
A familiar bass sound rang out. Asher who almost fell backwards barely caught his balance. Ronan raised one of his hands in greeting.
“Are you here?”
Jaifa’s body was completely soaked in blood. He clung to the wyvern’s neck with one hand as he fell. The wyvern unable to withstand his weight began to stumble and fall. Ronan lifted Cardion up by his hair and said sarcastically.
“I said I would spill it.”
“I would have caught it anyway.”
“Anyway the catch would have been swept away by the damn explosion and turned into a leopard print carpet. “I know you’re grateful to me man.”
“explosion?”
Jaifa tilted his head. Ronan was about to say something but then stopped. It was too much of a hassle to explain it step by step. Cardion sighed when he saw Jaifa.
“Come on Zaipa!”
The appearance of the black Were Tiger seemed like the end of all hope. Jaifa took one look at Cadion and clicked his tongue in displeasure.
“Tsk that’s disgusting.”
“Should I cut off the remaining leg as well?”
“I’ll leave that to Lodolan. I’ll go back.”
Jaipa jumped down with the three people on his side. The free wyvern flapped and flew away. The bells that had been ringing in Marbas stopped ringing.
Those people will live today without knowing that they almost flew away without a trace. Ronan sighed and muttered.
“…was moving this difficult?”
Jaipa repeated his leap as he had come and headed back to where he came from. It was annoying because his fur kept getting in my eyes but the sides were dozens of times better than the crappy tail. He was in the midst of flying.
“ah. “Is there something you would like to receive?”
“What do you want to receive?”
“These are the emperor’s instructions.”
Jaipa explained that the Emperor had instructed him to reward at his discretion those who contributed to the capture or elimination of Nebula Clazier. He continued speaking in a somewhat softer voice.
“Thanks to you I was able to kill fewer wyverns. You deserve it.”
“Compensation… compensation….”
Ronan shrugged his eyebrows. It was a completely unexpected income. After thinking for a moment he opened his mouth.
“Then…are you going to use your strength?”
