Brigia turned her head towards Sarante’s magic. La Mancha who tore through the defense shield drew an arc. Suddenly! Brigia’s head rose into the air.
“ah?”
Brigia who belatedly noticed the strange incident lowered her gaze. I saw Ai Song who was spraying sword strikes with his teeth clenched and Sarante who was riding on him.
Only then did Brigia realize that he could not feel anything below his neck. Suddenly the world turned upside down and the sky appeared.
What is the star’s protection?
Even if I tried to say something my voice wouldn’t come out. His vision darkened and that was the end of it.
Tuk. His head rolled around as he fell to the floor. The thorns that followed Brigia dispersed like fog. It wasn’t until Ronan saw her body fall forward that she let out a sigh of relief.
“What a bitch….”
Fortunately her severed head didn’t start talking or tentacles growing from her cut side. Her body which had been convulsing and spurting blood soon went limp. At that time Saran Te who was on her back vomited out her black red blood.
“Wow!”
“Damn you Sarante you worked hard. “Just be patient.”
“…Ronan.”
“You can’t die.”
Ronan hastily laid Saranthe down on her floor. Her affected area was still bleeding. The intestines sticking out from below her waist were shaking.
He was familiar with these types of injuries. It was reasonable to go straight to the burial site rather than to the field ward.
Even though she poured all the potions she had on the affected area it was of no use. Ronan exclaimed cupping her hand and putting it to her mouth.
“Sita!!”
Her voice rang out through the falling rain. Before long a black shadow appeared cutting through the darkness. Sita flapped her four wings and flew straight towards Ronan.
“Pyeol-ah!”
“Heal this man. hurry.”
Fortunately it seemed that the group had not yet left the mountain range. Sita’s feathers were completely soaked with rainwater.
Sita having once purged her body used her healing magic on Sarante and Ronan.
“Bwaaaaaa…!”
“This is…?”
The wound on Ronan’s shoulder healed quickly. Sarante’s bleeding stopped quickly. Saranthe whose complexion had returned albeit slightly looked at Sita with her bewildered eyes.
“That’s an amazing feat… I was curious from the beginning what kind of animal is it…?”
“Fuck are you curious about that now?”
“are you okay. It’s much better… If you don’t mind could you please take me to the statue…?”
Ronan twisted his lips. He silently picked up Sarante and placed him in front of the statue of Seniel. Sarante laughed softly.
“You are such a good person. “I’m glad I can see you at least in the end….”
“Don’t talk like you’re going to die soon. “If you go down the mountain range you can ride the ghost horse so just hold on until then.”
“Of course…you did a great job by the way. Who would have thought that we would defeat Brigia…”
“Damn I still don’t know what it is. “What the hell was that bitch doing and why did she attack you?”
Brigia was strong. Even taking into account that her body was not properly digested it was an extremely powerful enemy. If I had fought her at this age in her previous life she would have been defeated.
If Brigia had not been injured in the battle with Sarante and had not shown her weakness by overconfiding her star’s protection her current victory could not have been assured. Sarante looked at her Brigia’s head with pitiful eyes and opened her mouth.
“Brigia Lemeheim…was one of the greatest magic swordsmen I know. At one point he even served as Commander of the Knights of Rick Soda. The soldiers of the enemy country trembled at the mere news of Remeheim’s shadow coming…”
Sarante gave her information about Brigia and briefly explained why she had come to him. Among her old friends she said it was not only Brigia who had turned apostate.
Ronan laughed when he heard that she was one of the branch leaders of Nebula Clage.
“Damn it he said he was on a different level from the idiots I’ve met so far.”
“He lost his faith and gained strange powers… Anyway I guessed from the questions on the first day but he was fighting against the church….”
Ronan nodded his head. Sarante told me what he knew about Nebula Clazie. The basic ideas and doctrines about starlight were not much different from what Ronan knew before.
However what surprised Ronan was that an organization called Nebula Clazier had existed since Sarante was a child. It is said that they searched for powerful people in the early night recruited them as members or killed them and gradually increased their power.
“Countless assassins came to visit us… It had been quiet for the last few decades and we were relaxed but I never thought they would send Brigia…”
“You are humble. “Seeing how you use magic I wouldn’t be surprised if the captain himself came.”
“It’s an old man’s remnants… Now that I think about it how on earth did you destroy that shield…?”
“I don’t know. “I just thought it would work.”
Ronan shook his head. The shield that Brigia showed was undoubtedly the same as the one used by Ahayute.
Of course it was incomparably crude and immature in all respects but it had the same characteristic of draining or extinguishing most attacks.
And Ronan was able to ignore the shield. Suddenly what Brigia had said passed through her mind.
– It’s not even perfect yet but it has this kind of power. I think I understand why executives try to get promoted by using their courage.
“Fuck.”
Ronan cursed. It was not difficult to infer that some members of the organization were able to slightly manipulate the power of giants.
If that were true it was understandable why the existing strong players disappeared one by one. Because powers like the protection of the stars ignored common sense. At that time Sarante coughed up blood again.
“Wow!”
The blood that sprang up soaked Ronan’s pants. The amount was unusual. It was only then that Ronan noticed that Sarante’s complexion was gradually worsening. Ronan quickly bent down and squeezed Sarante’s hand.
“Damn Sarante.”
“Huh…uhuhuh…I guess we don’t have much time left….”
“Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat my aaaaaaaaaataaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa… as… as) as as as000000)?)?&8???&888888 t bt ttt wat as wat as ttpya as to? to?? through?? twaaaaa?”?”
Sita was still using healing magic. He was using such force that his feathers fell off but the wound was basically too deep. Sarante who turned his head and spat out blood continued.
“There’s no time… Take my ring… Show it to the librarian at the Dawn Tower… You’ll be able to get quite a bit of helpful information…”
“What do you mean data?”
“For…your…curse….”
Ronan’s eyes widened. Saran Te took off the ring on his left ring finger and held it out to him. The same mana was flowing from the jewel embedded in the middle of the ring.
“It’s going to be a long… arduous… fight… Forgive me for not being able to tell you to give up… I think Seniel… has a reason for Ronan… ”
“What do you mean by that? “Seniel is here?”
“It’s literally….”
Sarante trembled and raised his hands. He extended his index finger and poked Ronan in the chest.
“Right here….”
With those last words Sarante started muttering something. It was an unintelligible language. Ronan who saw all the nearby mana gathering towards him was wide awake.
“What are you doing now?”
“I need to rest a little…”
Suddenly I felt that Ronan’s Sarante hand was gradually becoming hard. The spilled internal organs went back into the body and a rock-like surface began to cover the cut surface.
Sarante was literally turning to stone. Ronan let go of his hand without realizing it. As if he had been waiting his shriveled arm disappeared into his torso. Eventually the muttering stopped.
“Sarante?”
Sarante did not answer. His lips were frozen in an open position. The petrification phenomenon that started from the cut surface was already moving up his neck.
Ronan gritted his teeth and looked up at the sky. A few seconds passed and when he lowered his head again there was a rock lying where Sarante had been. Wow. A sound like something breaking came from Ronan’s mouth.
“Damn….”
It was a beautiful rock. It seemed that no jewel could match the beauty of the worn stone. The surface polished over a long period of time took on a delicate white color like the belly of a fish.
The rain stopped before I knew it. Only a thin drizzle wetted the ruins like a lingering breeze. Soon the moon appeared through a gap in the torn clouds. Ronan muttered softly as he watched the moonlight flowing through the grain of the rock.
“all right. “I will do it.”
Ronan picked up a rock. It was lighter than I thought. At that time a familiar voice was heard from behind.
“It’s over there. hey!”
“What in the world is this…Ronan!”
“Ugh slow down a little…!”
Ronan turned his head. Asher and Marja Braum were running soaking wet. Asher was also draped around Braum’s shoulders as if his mana had been depleted. Ronan narrowed his eyes when he saw that their clothes were stained with blood.
“Why did you come when you told me not to come? “What is that blood?”
“sorry. “I was late because I ran into an ogre on the way.”
Braum lowered his head as if he had no shame. Ronan’s eyes widened.
“You encountered an ogre? “Did you win?”
“okay. barely. “It was fortunate that he was seriously injured.”
“Who was injured?”
Ronan hurriedly looked at the group’s movements. Although everyone was exhausted no one seemed injured. Marya who was looking around her opened her mouth.
“There is no one. Anyway what is all this about? Sarante…?”
“This is Sarante.”
Ronan pointed the tip of his chin at the rock he was holding. Marya frowned. As she was about to continue what she was saying Ronan turned his back on her.
“Hey where are you going?”
“Everyone come here and dig some ground. “How long does it take for Asher’s mana to recover?”
“Huh?”
“Lie down somewhere good for your neck until you recover somewhat. “There is a lot of work to do.”
Ronan left those words and approached Brigia’s body. Marya’s eyes met hers and she let out a scream.
“Aaaah! what?! “Can you believe she is that girl from before?”
“ok. “She was such a bitch.”
“What on earth happened? And what are you going to do with it…?”
“You’re noisy man. “Dig the ground.”
Ronan buried Brigia’s body in the ground. It was a courtesy to Sarante’s friend and powerful enemy. The party removed the debris and removed Sarante’s belongings from underneath. After hearing the circumstances Asher cried and said.
“So Sarante is dead…?”
“I don’t know.”
Ronan took out his cigarette. Unlike Sarante Brigia’s body did not turn to stone. Perhaps Sarante literally turned to stone to restore himself. Ronan opened his mouth as he looked at the shiny rock strapped to his backpack.
“I hope not.”
By the time I finished work dawn had already risen. After the clouds had cleared the sky was a clear wall blue.
At the site where the rubble had been completely cleared away only the statue of Seniel remained standing tall. After patting the statue once Ronan looked back at the exhausted group and said.
“Everyone worked hard.”
“you also.”
“It was an unforgettable club activity….”
The group nodded and encouraged each other. Every time the wind blew raindrops on the trees and blades of grass hit my face. Despite the noise of the previous day the scenery of the Baidian Mountains stretching out in the sunlight looked extremely peaceful.
They went down the mountain in half a day. When I arrived at the main street and blew the whistle a ghost horse appeared less than thirty minutes later.
The first activity of the special adventure club has ended. The group arrived at Phileon around noon that day. Because I had a lot of luggage it took longer than when I arrived.
****
The day after finishing club activities.
“Aaaah!!”
A scream rang out from Professor Varen Panasir’s office. In Varen’s hand there was a piece of paper titled [Club Activity Report].
As he read each line of Ronan’s handwriting Varen’s mane stood on end.
“What’s wrong Varen? I submitted it because you asked me to. “You followed the rules and times exactly.”
Ronan was sitting in front of him with his legs brazenly crossed drinking tea. Varen continued clutching his mane with one of his hands.
“The problem is not about school rules or activity times! W Is everything here true? Massacre of orcs using ghost horse rental and ogre extermination techniques…!”
“of course. “Because I’m not a liar.”
“Ahh…Ahh!”
Varen collapsed on the sofa. A moan almost like a scream came from his mouth. Ronan thought it was a good thing he didn’t write everything down. Like Saranthe being turned to stone or the beheading of an executive of Nebula Clazie…
“Anyway it’s all true so please be sure to report it to your superiors. “I will submit the plan for the next club activity soon.”
“You mean the next activity? “Do you think that would be possible?”
“Of course. The conversation with Old Man Kratir is already over? “Professor Varen does nothing but read our delightful adventures.”
Varen was speechless. He still couldn’t forget his shock when the ghost horse rental bill arrived.
After emptying his teacup for the third time Ronan stood up. He said as he placed the bundle he had brought with him on the table.
“Then I’ll just go. “This is a gift so please open it.”
“Now wait a minute!”
“I have class so I’ll just go. “I was really grateful and I will continue to be grateful Varen!”
Ronan left Varen’s office as if running away. Varen looked at the place he left with empty eyes like a soldier who had witnessed the death of a comrade before his eyes.
-Phee?
At that time Mar Fez who was grooming his feathers pecked at the bundle Ronan had left behind. The loosely tied knot was undone revealing the contents inside. Varen’s eyes widened.
“Is this…?”
The bundle was filled with herbs and mushrooms I had never seen before. Each of the strangely twisted grasses was giving off an unusual energy. Some of them had roots that were still alive so it looked like they could be grown as is.

After leaving Varen’s office Ronan headed to Nest the club area. He thought of Marya who was struggling with settlement work.
“You’re going to have a hard time this time.”
The value of the items obtained from the Baidian Mountains was beyond imagination. After discussion Ronan and his group decided what to sell and what to use. He remembered the expected profit that Marya had told him.
‘I really want to buy a house.’
It seemed like it was time to load Ilil from Nimburton. As he thought about this and that he soon arrived at a club building that was reminiscent of a tavern. When I opened the door a dusty interior came into view.
“What hasn’t anyone come yet?”
The interior was quiet. It seemed like everyone was late because they were busy with their schedules.
Are you training? Just as I was about to take a step the stairs leading to the second floor creaked and someone slowly walked down. Ronan frowned at the sight of the boy he hadn’t seen in a month.
“Why are you here?
“Are you here? Ronan.”
It was still an unlucky mess. The long back hair that looked like it had not been maintained was noticeable. Schlieffen looked at Ronan with sharper eyes and opened her mouth.
“Let’s talk.”
