“…okay. “It’s a wish.”
“yes. Sita was born after drinking my dream. “Maybe other dream birds are like that too.”
Ronan nodded. After finishing his meeting with Sita he returned to Varen’s office. Sita who had returned to her original form was dozing off with only her head sticking out of the window.
“Bwauuuuung…Bwauu….”
Varen who heard the secret of the dream bird was happy as if he had achieved his lifelong dream. He closed the notebook after writing down every single piece of information.
“A question that has been shrouded in mystery for a long time has finally been resolved. “I really don’t know how to thank you for this.”
“What is gratitude? “The professor and Secret did everything.”
“Still it wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for Ronan and Sita. If there is anything you want please let me know. “I will repay you with all my sincerity.”
“That’s what you want… then can you give me a few more of those magic scrolls?”
Ronan asked. Even though I had a hard time with it the time I spent with Sita who transformed into a human was quite enjoyable. Somehow it seemed like a rehearsal for raising a child who would soon be born. Varen nodded his head willingly.
“Of course it is possible. But could you give me a little time? “Because it is a very difficult magic it requires more time to produce.”
“It doesn’t matter as long as I can get it. “We are still having fun.”
Ronan grinned. The biggest advantage of the peaceful times was that there was no need to rush in everything. Varen took a sip of tea and pointed to the egg on the desk.
“So what are you going to do with this?”
It was what Abel left behind. Varen continued in a serious tone.
“If you want to take action such as sealing or destroying it I will help you.”
“Destruction?”
“yes. First of all it’s not an ordinary dream bird’s egg. “If its existence becomes known to the public there will be an uproar.”
The smile had suddenly disappeared from Varen’s face. I had no idea that a suggestion to destroy animal eggs would come out of that mouth.
Of course it wasn’t that I didn’t understand. Now that the traces of Nebula Clage are being erased one by one that egg is the only legacy left behind by Abel and the seed that can create a new disaster. Ronan who was smoothing his chin opened his mouth.
“no. “Just leave it alone.”
“What do you mean?”
“I will take responsibility for it. “I trust you will keep the secret about the egg.”
“Yes I will definitely keep it a secret but… are you sure you don’t mind?”
Varen asked back in a voice filled with anxiety. Ronan got up. He picked up the egg and slowly pondered it.
“I know what the professor is worried about. If you plant soybeans and they grow you may be worried that one day the egg will break and a second Abel will pop out. But Sita did not call Marfez her biological mother her mother.”
“That’s right. “I heard she was called a warrior.”
“yes. I don’t know exactly what it is but Sita likened a person to a person who provided a house. This means that Abel has no influence on those who will be born here one day. “What’s important is what kind of wish Al accepts and drinks.”
The egg left behind by Abel still showed no change. No one knew what was pulsating inside that rough shell.
“There is no sin in the child being born. Of course since the successor is such a bastard you might feel uneasy. I know. Still the reason I don’t step on it and destroy it right away is…”
Suddenly the moment of his last conversation with Abel flashed through Ronan’s mind. On the white sand beach with the red sea splashing he clearly heard Abel’s last words. He chuckled as he trailed off.
“That bastard also said he was sorry in the end.”
“…indeed. “If that’s the case I won’t stop you any longer.”
Varen smiled. If Ronan the discoverer of the egg came out like that in the first place he had nothing to say.
Afterwards the two people were talking about various things. Sigh. The door to the office opened and a familiar man and woman walked in. Balus opened her mouth.
“…I’ve been there.”
“oh. Balus.”
Ronan shrugged his eyebrows. Balus’ face was haggard as if he had not slept for three days. Hergé Bet her face flushed with blush was bowing her head behind him.
“That…Ronan. So…I am definitely Ronan’s child…”
“Yes miss. “Has the misunderstanding been resolved now?”
“…yes. sorry.”
Erzsebet muttered. Looking at the truly shameless expression on his face it seemed like Balus had explained it well. He suddenly stumbled and regained his balance by leaning on the wall.
“What are you okay?”
“…I thought I was going to die. “You ended up lifting me into the air saying you were one of those thugs… Ugh… I was really scared.”
Balus sobbed. Erzsebet’s face became even redder. Even though I grew older and more mature my fiery personality was not something I could leave behind.
“Ah…so I said I was really sorry. “I will definitely compensate you for the damage you suffered this time in the name of Acalusia…”
Still he wasn’t a bad kid at all. You could tell just by looking at them that they were trying their best to calm down Balus who was completely terrified. It was fortunate that the descendants of the nobility that divided this country including Schlieffen were in the right mindset.
Suddenly the words I had said passed through his mind with butterflies. Did she say that there are things about women that only women can help with? Ronan who was scratching his head called Erzsebet.
“Erzebet. “Follow me for a moment.”
“…yes? “Oh yes.”
Erzsebet flinched. The fear in his voice seemed to indicate that Ronan would be angry about this misunderstanding. Ronan took her to a corner of her office and opened her mouth.
“Erzebet. If you’re going to be on the island for a while go see Adeshan. “Preferably right now.”
“Uh to your sister? Why all of a sudden?”
“okay. I recently had a child. “I would be so happy if you went and congratulated me.”
“…What?”
Erzsebet’s face hardened. As expected she didn’t seem to have heard it yet. Perfect! Suddenly she snapped her fingers. At the same time Ronan who saw a translucent curtain surrounding her curled his lips and admired her.
“Silent magic after all you are a good girl. “I instinctively knew it was a secret.”
“Now wait a minute. Wait a minute. What did you just say? “I guess I heard wrong right?”
“Adeshan said he had a child. “This time it’s really my child.”
“That that that that…!”
Erzébet covered her mouth with both hands and froze. She managed to come to her senses and ran out of her office screaming Ade Shan’s name. As the sound of her descending the stairs stopped her voice echoed in Ronan’s head.
[congratulation! For now!]
“Are you coming?”
Ronan chuckled at the reaction he expected. Varen and Citabalus were looking at Erzebet and Ronan alternately with expressions full of doubt.
Judging by her personality it is clear that she will make a fuss about naming her child herself so I was looking forward to seeing which of Nabirose and the name she gave her would be chosen. Ronan who saw her darkened window turned his back on her.
“Then I will leave quickly. See you again.”
“Oh do you want to?”
It was a day with a lot going on. Varen stood up and shook hands. Ronan who had said goodbye to Balus was about to leave. He happened to look at the corner of the office and cursed.
“Fuck. “I forgot this.”
The sealing stones that Sita had spit out were rolling around on the floor. An ominous red light was seeping out from the amulets attached to each other. Varen said as he grabbed his mane.
“Wow I forgot too. “You said it was something Sita brought from the New World right?”
“yes. “Something terrible was sealed…”
Ronan frowned at her. If it had been committed on such a grand scale something regrettable would definitely have been going on in the New World.
‘The owner must clean up the dog’s poop.’
Ronan sighed as he organized her plan in his head. It bothered her to leave her pregnant girlfriend alone but with Erzébet attached too it wouldn’t be a problem.
She’ll just stop by the house and then leave right away. It was the moment when he woke up Sita and was about to go out. Suddenly his eyes were fixed on Sita’s cheek.
“hmm? This is…”
“Pyeol?”
A few strands of tulip-red hair were tangled in the black fur. It was long and shiny and gave me a strong sense of déjà vu. Ronan examining his hair snapped his fingers.
“This is Asher’s hair…aha.”
I felt like I knew why Sita had traveled to the New World. On the day he graduated from Phileon Marya proudly declared that she would expand the Caravel Merchant Marine to the New World. And Asher said he would accompany Marya as a guard to the top.
“Did you go to Asher and Marya?”
“Bwait!”
Sita shook her head in affirmation. It seemed like he had followed those two to the New World. Suddenly my heart relaxed. Ronan heaved a sigh of relief and muttered as if he was talking to himself.
“what. Then you don’t have to go.”
“hmm? “You’re not going?”
“yes. There’s that bastard Asher so he doesn’t need to go all the way. “It will take care of itself.”
Ronan declared. No matter what anyone says the current Asher was one of the greatest wizards on the continent. He would have the ability to deal with whatever came out from inside the broken seal.
“The only thing that bastard Asher has to fear is Mary. So professor you can rest assured.”
“I certainly know how strong Asher is but…”
Varen dragged her tail. It was true that her nervousness dropped significantly when she heard that Asher was there. Ronan who was sitting on Sita’s head concluded his speech with a smile.
“Don’t worry. “There won’t be any problem.”
****
“Stop this now…!”
It was a full moon night. Asher was running away by flying between the steep cliffs. There were several footsteps chasing him from about five hundred steps away.
A narrow road continued beneath his feet. Asher who suddenly felt life threatening turned his back and screamed.
“Hyaaaaaaa! Oh don’t come!”
At the same time Asher stretched out his arms. His invisible hand pushed the rock that was lying on the cliff. bang! A rock that fell down a cliff blocked the road. After confirming that the sound of footsteps had stopped Asher opened his mouth.
“Aren’t you following me anymore?”
His back was all wet with sweat. I no longer felt popular. Asher was just about to breathe a sigh of relief. Shhh! Dozens of human figures rose from the top of the rock blocking the road.
“Hehehe!”
Asher’s face turned pale. The shadows of the masked people with their backs to the moon were cast over Asher’s face. In each of their hands was a sword they had never seen before. The person who appeared to be the leader shouted pointing at Asher.
“Seeing that he is using suspicious magic it is clear that he is a spy. “Kill it!”
