32. Reunion (2)
#32
“You are one of the few lucky people in the world. Please take a close look. “It will go up to a place you can’t even see in an instant.”
Hair as black as night pure white skin and high nose bridge caught my eye. Nabirose quietly whispered her name.
“Adeshan.”
“yes. Anyway I really can’t feel any mana. “Do you have weak natural mana like me?”
“It’s worse. “You have somehow reached the level of a sword user but I can’t feel a single drop of mana from that child.”
“That…there’s no way something like that would be possible…”
Adeshan watched Ronan’s dance as if he were possessed by something. There was not a single unnecessary thing to be found in the fluid movements.
After completing a demonstration of imperial spearmanship Ronan picked up her shield and short sword. She mumbled Adeshan.
“If I keep trying will I be able to do something like that someday?”
Nabirose did not answer. It was a silence as cold as reality. But she Adeshan didn’t care about that and continued to ignite her envious gaze. Before long Ronan’s demonstration was over.
“Huh… I’m done.”
Ronan dropped her mace on the floor. There was silence for a while and then applause was heard among her seniors. Clap clap clap… The applause grew louder and more numerous until it filled the entire arena. someone shouted.
“That’s great you’re a new student!”
Next her praise for Ronan sporadically burst out. But none of that reached Ronan’s ears. The heat seeping from her entire body had dulled her senses.
“Wow it’s so hot.”
Even though she was cutting into the air she was sweating profusely as she tried to do it continuously. The jacket and tie had already been taken off.
Ronan lifted the hem of her shirt and wiped the sweat from her face. Her abs reminiscent of those of a wild beast were revealed at first glance. Some female students covered their mouths and started whispering.
“There is no separate elixir. “I’m taking Butterfly Rose’s class because of this taste.”
“Crazy bitch. By the way should I go and ask how my older brother is?”
Ronan raised his head only after wiping off all his sweat. Our eyes met and I nodded as if appreciating his hard work. At that time someone came holding a towel.
“Over there. I really enjoyed it. “There really wasn’t a single mistake.”
“Oh yeah. thank you.”
“Next time if it’s okay I’d like to be taught some more. “The name is…”
“It’s Ronan.”
Ronan picked up the towel. It was then that she turned her head to say thank you. When Ronan encountered a girl who was taller than him he froze as if he had been turned into a stone.
“…General?”
“uh? “General…?”
The towel fell to the floor. Adeshan tilted his head in confusion. Sweat was dripping from her forehead and pooling at the tip of her chin but Ronan stared at her face without blinking. Soon her Ronan’s mouth opened.
“Adeshan.”
“Huh? “Do you know my name?”
Ade Shan’s eyes widened. Although she was younger her face had changed little. Ronan picked up her towel and wiped her face.
She thought Ronan was glad she was sweating profusely. I could get away with at least a drop of liquid other than sweat from her eyes.

Nabi Rose’s classes were mainly about sparring. After a brief theory and swordsmanship demonstration it was a form of sparring in groups with anyone.
What Butterfly Rose taught me today was Butterfly Rose’s one-second diet. The sword coiling like a snake was a technique that made it difficult for the opponent to deal with it.
Normally Ronan would have followed along with his eyes lit up but today the spirit lesson didn’t enter his mind. He was thinking about the young general who handed him the towel.
He said ‘He looks young but I never thought he would be similar to me.’
There are people who cannot be forgotten even if you try to forget them. Ronan who had experienced her death once knew such people.
She was like her beloved sister and her comrades in the Punishment Army who giggled every night were like that. The general who handed over his future at the last moment was one of those people.
Ronan had been standing still for a while after receiving her towel. Adeshan looked at Ronan strangely then rushed to Nabirose’s call.
‘Somehow… the atmosphere was very different.’
Ronan remembered Ade Shan from his previous life. The youngest imperial army general. Duke of the great family Acalusia. There wasn’t even a trace of weakness to be found in her as she wielded her millions of forces.
She was ‘a person you could trust even if she had molten metal flowing through her veins instead of blood.’
The General Adeshan that Ronan knew was an extremely cold-hearted and rational person. This can be seen from the fact that during the decisive battle with the Aha Ute he sent most of his remaining troops including the Imperial Knights to serve as escorts for the punitive force.
He never revealed his emotions and did whatever it took to achieve his goals. He opened his heart in the last moments he spent with Ronan but even then his weaknesses as a general were not visible.
But now I noticed that he had a rich expression and seemed somewhat immature. Nasudo who was practicing swordsmanship alone shouted.
“Instructor Adeshan! “Please look at your posture here!”
“Ah…I’m going now!”
Adeshan ran holding a stack of documents. She was acting as Nabirose’s assistant.
Nasudo displayed his sword skills by stabbing his rapier in the air. She Adeshan carefully analyzed his posture and corrected it.
“Um… overall he’s fine but his left thigh was a little tight. Would you like to lower his core output by 20% and shift his center of gravity to the right and forward?”
“Oh it’s much better. thank you.”
Nasdo expressed his gratitude. She left Ade Shan with a friendly smile as she went to see the posture of another student. Ronan frowned at his meticulous yet friendly appearance.
She simply could not connect with aspects of her past life. Now that she thought about it she had a question. What kind of life is Adeshan living now?
‘It’s either the first or the third…’
I couldn’t tell because I didn’t know the exact effect of her beads. However if you look at what you see now you can see that he is living his first life. The smile Adeshan showed was not an expression that could be made by someone who has been worn down by the repeated waves of life.
‘Is there any possibility of a fourth life? No in that case I would have been making a living by cutting fabric. So did the general I knew die there? ‘What the fuck happened?’
Her head was dizzy from the ever-increasing doubts. At that time someone’s voice was heard from behind.
“Hey new student. I just enjoyed the demonstration. “It was scary right?”
Ronan turned her head. A tall and handsome young man was standing there. He pointed to Braum and Nasudo who were eagerly swinging their greatswords and rapiers.
“I heard a rumor. “You said you completely destroyed those two idiots?”
“yes?”
“Why during the entrance ceremony? “That useless big idiot and the guy who looks as thin as his weapon.”
Because his tie was loose I couldn’t tell what grade he was in. However seeing how he treated Braum and Nasudo with disdain it was clear that he was a more advanced student.
It was a little annoying to have to deal with two people I knew so well but I thought it could be okay if we were close friends. The young man held out his hand.
“It’s Cardan Own. Please take care of me.”
“It’s Ronan.”
“To be honest I felt a bit ashamed when I saw you. “How can you handle different types of weapons so perfectly?”
“I just did what I was taught.”
Cardan continued to praise Ronan. It felt a bit excessive or contrived but Ronan brushed it off.
Because he has no reason to dislike someone who likes him. Cardan continued his words swinging his spear.
“Would you like to spar with me? “I want to learn something from a junior with a promising future.”
“is it so. Do you want to do it right here?”
“no. Just wait a moment. hey! Adeshan!”
“Uh huh?!”
Cardan shouted. Soon Adeshan came running and stopped in front of the two. Cardan said nervously.
“Anyway it’s slow. “Go and get my spear.”
“window? “What I’m holding right now is…”
“If you act like an idiot you should understand. This is a long spear and I’m telling you to bring a short spear. “Quickly go and get it.”
“Oh yes!”
Adeshan turned and ran. What a frustrating year. Cardan muttered. Ronan narrowed his eyebrows when he saw Ha Dae who seemed to be treating him as a servant rather than an assistant.
“Can’t you just ask me to bring it to you when I call you?”
“Huh? Haha you must have been a little surprised. Sorry. I can’t stand people who try to enjoy rights over subjects they have no skills in. “Just like him.”
Cardan pointed to Adeshan who was wandering around looking for a spear. He explained that Adeshan was not qualified to take Nabiroje’s classes.
“Originally you could only take Nabirose’s class ‘Practical Advanced Swordsmanship’ only if you reached the level of a sword expert. But that kid is still taking classes even though he is still at the level of a sword user. Shamelessly.”
“Why are you letting me take classes?”
“Don’t even talk. How ugly it was to beg for at least an audit. You know everything about our grade right? “Nabirose couldn’t bear it so he hired me as an assistant.”
In short Adeshan really wanted to take Sentai Sword Saint Nabiroze’s classes but he could not meet the conditions. So taking advantage of his observation skills and meticulousness he asked to be his assistant and Butterfly Rose accepted.
What’s the problem Nimmi? Ronan said.
“Isn’t it permitted because it has its own potential? “I just saw you and it looks like you’re doing a good job as a teaching assistant.”
“What you like that little bitch? This is shocking. “My face is a bit flat but my taste is good….”
“Cardan! Here’s the window…!”
At that time Adeshan came running holding a javelin and stopped in front of the two. A few beads of sweat were running down my pale cheeks. Cardan said tapping Adeshan on the forehead.
“If you’re slow and your skills aren’t there you should at least take on the role of an assistant. “I wasn’t even qualified to take the class in the first place.”
“Stop that…Cardan.”
“I should add senior. huh? I am now in the third year. “On the topic of repeat students.”
Cardan didn’t stop. Ronan looked around. Nabirose was talking about something with Schlieffen in the corner. A few seniors were glancing in this direction but no one was there to stop them just watching.
‘Damn it.’
Ronan twisted his lips. My stomach was pounding and I couldn’t hold on any longer. He placed his hand on Cardan’s shoulder as he taunted Adeshan.
“Let’s spar. “I can’t watch you anymore.”
“uh? That’s how it should be. But why are you speaking like that all of a sudden? “Are you saying you can’t watch me anymore?”
“well? Let’s get ready quickly. “Can I just stand there?”
Several long and wide rectangles were drawn on the floor of the first arena. It was a separate area so that other groups and Dalian routes did not overlap.
Ronan went and stood at one end of a nearby rectangle. Cardan snatched the javelin away from Adeshan and took his place on the other side. Cardan seeing Ronan’s expression chattered nervously.
“I don’t think it’s the kind of look you would give to a senior. “What do you dislike so much junior?”
“Shut up and be glad this place is Phileon.”
“What are you talking about all of a sudden? And are you speaking informally just now?”
“okay. “You fucking bastard.”
The rectangle glowed brightly signaling the start of sparring. Ronan jumped out and grabbed the hilt of his sword.
