“at las. Is he dead?』
A familiar voice echoed from the sky. Ronan lifted her head feeling an eerie sense of déjà vu. There was only an empty white space stretching out in the distance.
“Abel…!”
There was no one in sight. But just now it was unmistakably Abel’s voice. Ronan was staring at the sky with his eyes wide open.
『It’s truly useless. She acted as if she would never die but in the end she ended up like those she loved.』
Suddenly a voice came from right next to me. Ronan quickly lowered his gaze and sucked in a breath. Abel suddenly appeared and was examining the body of her savior.
“what.”
『Stop sleeping now. Foolish brother.』
I couldn’t sense her movement at all. Abel left a single word as if he was chewing and closed the savior’s eyes. He opened his eyes which had been closed as if praying and finally looked back at Ronan.
『See you again. My nephew.』
Abel grinned. Her severed limbs had grown back. The broken sword and her half-corpse body were restored to their original state.
“You fucking bastard!”
Ronan reflexively fired a slash. The blade fired at a speed beyond his awareness was about to reach his neck. Kaan-! A fierce metallic sound rang out.
“what…”
『It’s urgent. “We’re all going to die anyway so is there any need to hasten the fate?”
Ronan’s eyes widened. Abel who had already drawn her sword was blocking La Mancha with a relaxed expression. She didn’t appear to be moving like she did a moment ago.
‘what?’
Cold sweat ran down Ronan’s temples. She had become stronger than when she cut off her limbs. The feeling coming from Abel was completely different from before.
『Let’s not be too hasty. Luckily for you guys I’m feeling pretty good right now.”
The hairs all over her body stood up. It wasn’t like this when I first encountered Navardose or Ahayute or even the King of Giants. Her instincts were screaming at her to run.
Now that I think about it the energy that I felt from the king of giants was radiating from him. Does it have something to do with them disappearing all at once?
‘If you fight now you will lose.’
Ronan slowly lifted his sword. It was a situation in which I should not have acted recklessly. Abel laughed when he saw that.
『As expected you are smart.』
Abel also quietly put away her knife. I don’t know if she was enjoying the situation but her polished face was full of relaxation. When Ronan didn’t say anything he spoke first.
『Rejoice. My long-time plan has finally succeeded. It took a really long time but I did it in the end.』
“A long-term plan?”
“okay. All the proud bald men are dead. They became a part of me along with the other souls they had absorbed.』
After saying that Abel pounded her chest with his fist. I don’t know the details but it seemed like she had probably absorbed all the power and life of the giants. He suddenly looked around her and muttered in a voice filled with admiration.
『Anyway you are really amazing. He gave his strength but I never thought even a single animal would die. Do you know this? 30% of your stars were destroyed by the blow just now.』
“…what?”
Ronan’s face hardened. I wondered what kind of bullshit this was. Not even 30% of the system but 30% of the world was destroyed. Abel continued.
『The empire narrowly missed but a double-digit number of countries were destroyed. Aren’t you happy? At this rate the work will be over soon.』
“What on earth are you…going to do?”
Ronan who had been silent gritted his teeth. I had no idea what Abel’s purpose was.
Until now he had definitely thought that he would become part of the race by offering a star to them. However Abel destroyed the giants and crowned himself a king-like being.
『…Well you can tell me slowly. Because we’ve reached the end anyway. You will definitely be grateful to me.』
Abel chuckled after hearing the question. The dark laughter made her bones tingle. He was about to say something. Suddenly an angry shout rang out from behind Abel.
【this guy!!】
The two people turned their heads at the same time. A black shadow was rushing in in the form of flames. Ronan’s brow furrowed.
“That’s…!”
It seemed like he had finally come to his senses. The red eye glow approaching with its tail hanging was undoubtedly that of the Shadow Duke. After all it’s a damn thing in this situation. Ronan shouted urgently.
“You idiot stop!”
I know he was blinded by anger but there was no way he could be his opponent. Ronan tried to stop Abel but he had already kicked the ground and started to intercept him. Abel arrived in front of the Duke in an instant and drew his sword.
『You mosquito. I haven’t liked your species for a long time.』
【what…!】
Abel let out a bitter laugh. The Archduke’s eyes widened at the speed that far exceeded his expectations. Sgak-! With a sound like firewood splitting the shadow split into two. The Archduke’s body cut in half was sprawled on the floor leaving a long trail of blood.
【Wow!】
“This dog is really!”
It happened in an instant. Ronan sword raised was about to run out. Abel who had been laughing frowned at her.
“…hmm?”
He stopped in place. Huge dark red tentacles were growing through the ground and wrapping around the body. The tentacles which appeared to be a type of blood magic did not fall off easily even when Abel moved his body.
Suddenly the Archduke with only his upper body remaining let out a low laugh.
【K…Khehe…You won’t be able to move….】
“grandee?”
Ronan’s eyes widened. He soon realized that the Archduke had used his body as bait to cast a powerful spell.
『I’m sure you guys know by now that this is useless.』
Abel snorted and cut off his tentacle. Phew! Something flew through the wind and pierced Abel’s chest. He blinked and lowered his gaze. The spiral spear blade had broken through his ribcage and was sticking out.
『This…it stings a little.』
【Damn you. You’re not even pretending to be sick.】
Even though he was seriously injured Abel remained calm. A grumbling sound came from the direction from which he had thrown his spear. As he turned his head Orce caught his eye clicking his tongue.
“Orsay?”
【What are you doing you idiot? Completely leaving it out.】
Orsay growled after seeing Ronan. The extremely nervous pupils were narrowed vertically. Ronan noticed that he was struggling to endure his fear.
Quad Deuk! Suddenly the ground Abel was stepping on flipped over and hit him. The earth and rocks that writhed as if she were alive coalesced into a sphere and became a prison that imprisoned Abel. Next trees grass and solid ice covered the prison like pavement.
“This is.”
Ronan paused. It wasn’t that difficult to figure out who did it. Lorhorn who was taking a deep breath stroked his beard and muttered.
“…This is so. “Things are going to be difficult.”
The always proud Grand Wizard’s face turned white. He instinctively felt how dangerous Abel was now.
Lorhorn gestured and the sphere slowly rose into the air. With a loud sound the size of the sphere began to gradually decrease.
I thought he was planning to completely crush it but that didn’t seem to be the case. Dozens of geometric magic circles emerged without any gaps on the uneven surface. It was a damage amplification spell that Ronan was also familiar with.
Suddenly Adeshan’s voice rang out in Ronan’s head.
[It is now. Rush away!]
Ronan’s eyes widened. At the same time the pile of rocks that trapped Abel quickly rose high into the air. At the same time the soldiers and dragons who had been lying down rose up all at once.
“Wow!”
“I thought you were going fucking blind!”
Cheers erupted from everywhere. Their eyes all had a dull gray color. It was evidence that morale had been forcibly raised due to Adeshan’s abilities.
It was a moment when the shouts that had been shouted became echoes. Tens of thousands of arrows and projectile magic were shot toward the sphere isolated in the sky.
【Disappear!】
“Let me go home now!”
“You son of a bitch! “Our village was in the forest you blew away!”
Quagwagwang-! bang! Explosions of various colors colored the night sky. A series of loud noises that seemed to tear my eardrums rang out. Allied soldiers as well as injured dragons were casting magic in an unreasonable manner.
“Huh…uhuhuh…ugh!”
Adeshan who was using shadow mana covered his mouth and retched. It was because of excessive use of force.
Suddenly her and Ronan’s eyes which had been far away met. she exclaimed in her voice wiping her mouth with her sleeve.
“Ronan…! Hehe you have to catch it now! “I don’t know what it is but it’s dangerous…!”
“General.”
“You have to come to your senses. Don’t be crushed. “The only person we can trust now is you!”
It was a tone that felt desperate. It didn’t take long to understand the situation. The entire surprise attack on Abel was all planned by Adeshan.
She was the first to see the danger and was trying to win the game quickly before it escalated further. All allies on the battlefield were attacking with all their might.
“…Shit!”
My head seemed to be clearer now. Ronan who came to his senses belatedly cursed. He admits to being overwhelmed by her father’s death and Abel becoming ridiculously strong.
The anger that came with shame enveloped my body. A bright burning red rose up La Mancha’s sword body. Ronan whose leg strength was strengthened by magic kicked the ground and leapt.
Kwaaaa!! At the same time the rock pile that was restraining Abel exploded. Despair appeared on people’s faces. His relaxed expression was mocking all his efforts. When Abel reappeared he was alive and well without a single wound.
【Damn….】
Orsay gritted his teeth. He saw that the spiral spear he had thrown was in the bastard’s hand. Once again deadly projectiles flew from all directions front back left and right but Abel neutralized her attacks by slashing so quickly that they were invisible.
『I should have told you. It’s all nonsense.』
“shut up! “You bastard of the world!”
Ronan was the only one who was not in despair. The gap had already completely narrowed. She raised the corners of her mouth as Abel met his eyes and hers.
“okay. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to warm up a bit before performing the royal ceremony.』
Abel threw down her spear and held her own sword straight. He and Ronan’s arms disappeared from sight.
The two lines created by the slash clashed in the sky. Kaaaaaaang-!! An eerily cheerful metallic sound echoed across the wasteland that was once a forest. Adeshan opened his mouth with his eyes focused on the clash between the two monsters.
“…is it true what you said in the first tone?”
“okay.”
Ali Bryhe nodded her head. He took advantage of the chaos of the battlefield to sneak up on Adeshan.
He took the form of a human youth and held a round stone in his hand. Ade Shan who was drooling asked the question again.
“I hope I don’t have to use anything as much as possible but… can you do it?”
The concern mixed in his voice was heavy. The answer came back without hesitation.
“I have to do it.”
