277. Savior (4)
#278
“…Hello.”
Ronan bowed his head. The Savior smiled softly. I think I did a good job up to this point but the problem was that I couldn’t think of anything else to say.
‘It’s so awkward.’
I gave Elthea a sneak peek but she didn’t have time to look at Ronan’s face because she was sobbing in joy at the resurrection of her savior.
“Ugh…Ugh…finally….”
‘Damn it.’
Ronan twitched her lip. After saying hello the savior did not say anything and just looked at himself. Damn is there anything you want to say to your son whom you haven’t seen in a long time? Ronan who was scratching her head tried her luck.
“Uh…how are you feeling?”
“It’s much better. “It’s much better.”
“I don’t think so.”
Ronan narrowed his eyes at her. Although she seemed to have improved since before it was still a miracle that she was still alive. Through a hole the size of her child’s head she could still see the scene behind her.
“Well it would be correct to say that we have passed the urgent crisis. “I have healed to the point where self-healing is possible so now all I need is time.”
“Then I’m glad.”
“I never thought you would really save Abel’s blood… I can’t help but admire your courage and strength.”
The savior said. As he said the wound was healing slowly. I was relieved that I didn’t make a mistake.
However there was one part that pricked her conscience. Ronan answered awkwardly.
“I just picked up what had fallen. “I don’t know who hurt that monster.”
“I see. “If it wasn’t you it was definitely the kid who did it.”
“What? “Are you my sister?”
Ronan’s eyes widened. I had no idea what this meant. As for my older sister she was the one who asked me for favors because she was afraid of even biting a chicken.
He said he would cook meat for me but even though he acted confidently I could still see the way he came to me in tears when he saw blood.
That kind of person crossed swords with the leader of the Nebula Clazier cult and even wounded him? It was easier to imagine Asher telekinetically pulling Marya in and kissing her. The savior continued.
“Your sister… So Iril’s blood is much stronger than yours. Of course you are superior in Ilshin’s strength but that child is also capable of protecting himself.”
It was a calm voice as if explaining common sense. Ronan was still trying to recall the image of Iril dumbfounded and fighting with a sword.
“No way.”
“It’s true. It’s just that Mujae had no chance to wake up thanks to the child’s other abilities. He hoped he would never wake up…”
“…Let’s say so. That’s right I have something to ask.”
Suddenly Ronan snapped his fingers. Because I suddenly heard shocking news I was delayed in getting to the point.
There were a lot of things I wanted to ask and things that had been pushed back but right now it was time to focus on saving Iril. It was the car where he was trying to explain the situation.
“There’s no need to explain everything. I’ve already seen it all. I guess Iril was kidnapped by her stupid brother? “You came here to ask for advice on that.”
“How did you know that?”
Ronan raised his eyebrows. Now that I think about it the conversation just a moment ago couldn’t have taken place without knowing what happened to Iril. The flow was so natural that I didn’t even notice.
“It’s no big deal. My eyes were closed but my ears were open. “I remember every conversation you and Elthea had here.”
“her.”
Ronan laughed. He never expected that he would have been conscious even inside the glass coffin. Of course it was good news that there was no need to elaborate. The savior sighed.
“Hmm… Anyway if Abel took her things aren’t going too well for her. He has a purpose but he will definitely have been taken to the headquarters so he will have to deal with Abel and the archbishops at once….”
“That’s accurate. Is there any way? “It would be better if you also tell us how to stop the winged balds.”
“…I have to get out of here first. “Elcia take me out.”
“yes?!”
Elthea’s eyes widened at the sudden request of a savior. Tears were still clearly visible on her white cheeks. She whipped away quickly.
“But the wound isn’t fully healed yet. “If you overdo it…”
“hurry. “I don’t have time.”
The savior spoke firmly. Before I knew it a sad expression had appeared on my face. Is it because my only daughter was kidnapped? Elsie who didn’t know what to do eventually nodded her head.
“…all right.”
She walked to a corner of her room and operated a complicated-looking mechanism. Push it… The liquid inside the glass tube settled and the doorway opened.
“Ah how long has it been since I’ve been on the ground with both legs…?”
The savior who was moving his limbs around took a step forward. It was the moment he came out of the glass tube. widely! His bony legs were crossed and his body tilted sharply.
“this.”
“Old Savior!”
Elthea screamed. Ronan hastily reached out for her hand. Luckily he was able to catch himself before his body hit the floor. He asked with a worried tone.
“Are you fucking okay?”
“okay. It seems like my muscles are surprised because it hasn’t been so long since I moved. “Thank you.”
The Savior nodded his head. He got up staggering like a newborn deer. Elsie rushed over to her and draped a thick robe over his naked body.
“Wear this. “You don’t want to catch a cold.”
“okay. “Thank you.”
Ronan’s brows narrowed. I had doubts that I should immediately return it to the glass tube and pickle it again. He said he was fine so he couldn’t help it. The savior who was facing Ronan opened his mouth.
“…Then I guess I have to answer. “It’s impossible for you right now.”
“yes?”
“Abel is strong. Much more than you can imagine. “You of course will not be able to win even if Navardose comes forward.”
The tone was as firm as it was cutting. If it was going to be like this I didn’t understand why the fuck he wanted to come out. He said roughly brushing his bangs.
“Fuck I know that much. So I didn’t come here to ask you how to destroy that guy.”
A vein appeared on Ronan’s forehead. I came here to find an answer but I was angry because they were saying things that were obvious. Elthea who had been listening to their conversation approached cautiously.
“Ro Ronan. “Speak a little…”
“I’m sorry but please just look at me Elthea. I stayed quiet because my sister’s work was urgent. To be honest from my perspective this person is closer to a bastard who abandoned his mother and my siblings than a respectable father.
“that….”
“I didn’t even just leave. “I jumped out with a lot of curses that a normal human wouldn’t be able to handle.”
Ronan growled. The resentment that had been building up for so long was burning brightly. In fact Ronan would have punched the Vindicator in the face or stomach if he were in better shape. Something very spicy.
Elsia realizing that it was not her place to intervene clamped her mouth shut. The savior next to her smiled bitterly.
“It’s not exactly wrong. “I was certainly far from a good father.”
“I’m glad you have a conscience. By the way after struggling for a while I finally met her mother. “It didn’t hurt at that time?”
Ronan asked. When I thought about it it was strange. Is it possible for him to seduce her mother and have her child even though he was so sick that he had to put his foot into a glass tube 5 years ago? The Savior shook his head.
“It hurt. But sometimes love can make you forget even the pain of death.”
“Wow.”
“You too will realize someday. “One of the truths I realized while wasting my long life is that there is no force more powerful than that in this universe.”
The voice was serious. The Savior said that during his illness he happened to meet her mother and settled in Nimburton for a while. It was definitely something I would live to see for a long time before the day came when we had family conversations like this.
“More than anything…your mother was so beautiful. So much so that I could throw away the rest of my life.”
“That’s a somewhat understandable reason.”
Ronan laughed. In fact anyone who knew Iril’s face would easily be able to figure out why this old man had overexerted himself. There was an awkward silence for a moment. The savior who was reflecting on his memories opened his mouth.
“Then let’s go now.”
“You’re leaving. “Where?”
“Shouldn’t we defeat Abel and save my daughter?”
“What didn’t you say earlier that you would never win?”
Ronan’s eyes widened. It was different from what she had just heard. The Savior shook his head.
“To be exact I said you couldn’t win as you are now. “There are ways to increase your chances of winning.”
“What is that?”
“I’ll tell you about that as I go. “Please carry me.”
“…yes?”
“hurry. “It’s a long walk but I don’t think I can get there in my current condition.”
The Savior explained that in order to have any chance of winning they had to go to a specific location somewhere in the Sea of Wraiths. It was so shameless that I laughed out loud. It was absurd but he had to believe it so Ronan lowered his waist and squatted in place.
“What is it….”
“What the heck…don’t be in trouble.”
The savior carried Ronan on his back without any hesitation. Somehow the more we talked the more people seemed to be changing from what I expected.
Perhaps because he had been trapped in a glass tube for a long time the savior was very light. He said with admiration as he patted the backboard.
“You have a broad back.”
“…Heng.”
Ronan laughed. I couldn’t explain how I felt right now. It wasn’t very good but it wasn’t bad either. The savior who had taken his stance spoke to El Sia.
“Elthea. Stay where you are. “It won’t take that long.”
“I will follow your wishes.”
Elsia bowed her waist. She was looking at the two people with a mixture of excitement and concern. As if handling his words the savior who guided Ronan in his direction opened his mouth.
“Then let’s leave.”
****
Unexpectedly the road to the secret location was connected to the ruins. Ronan left the room and followed his savior’s instructions. The two went down the ladder to a small room that looked like a food warehouse in the most remote part of the ruins.
“How far does it go?”
“Deeply…very deep. “Isn’t it difficult?”
“Not really. “I just asked because I was curious how long it would take.”
Ronan blurted out. Actually it wasn’t difficult at all. After going down the ladder for about 30 minutes we came to a long steep slope.
“…It’s so cold.”
Even my breath felt like it was freezing. For some reason the deeper I went the colder it seemed to get. It was surprising that a place like this existed in the Sea of Ghosts.
Unlike what was said before the savior remained silent as he went. The expression on his face was so bad that it seemed like he was nervous. Ronan who had been walking down the slope for a while asked a question.
“So what is that method? “How can I beat Abel like I am now?”
“…I can feel the magic of Vajra and the heat of the primordial embers in your heart. “It’s really refreshing to do something like this.”
“yes? “Suddenly what is that…”
“Ronan. I know you tried everything you could to break the curse. Nevertheless about half of the curse still remains in your body.”
Ronan took a deep breath. I certainly didn’t expect that the story of a curse would come up here. The savior left him in confusion and continued speaking.
“I’m trying to get rid of it.”
