266. Isn’t it good sometimes like this?
#266
“Ugh…damn….”
Ronan opened her eyes. Her head felt heavy as if her brain had been submerged in water. As she turned her body which was lying on her side a familiar wooden ceiling and twenty heart-shaped daggers caught her eye.
“That’s some idiot again…Woof!”
Ronan who was trying to get up covered his mouth and retched. Fortunately the contents did not come out. He smelled of alcohol every time he inhaled and exhaled. He stumbled and stood up leaning against the wall.
Ronan desperately recalled the last night in sporadic moments. As soon as he returned from Adren he was overworked and it was not until the evening of the second day that he was able to reunite with Adeshan and the members of the Special Adventure Club.
People threw a party to welcome Ronan and Asher Schlieffen who returned from their eventful journey. Itar Gand to whom Marja provided drink and food and lent her his boat provided dry service.
Although the number of people was not small the building was so large that it was not difficult for everyone to play together. The beer foam rising every time the glass was hit was reminiscent of the foam of waves on a sunset day.
…I remembered exactly up to that point. Ronan who was looking around stuck out his tongue.
“I drank it strangely.”
The inside of the club building was a mess as if a bomb had exploded. There were puddles of vomit and alcohol everywhere. The leftover snacks were as cold as a frozen corpse.
Four or five liquor barrels large enough to hold people were rolling around but they were all empty. Most of the drinking glasses lying on the floor were broken.
I’m not sure but I remembered that Marja probably drunk couldn’t control her grip and kept smashing it. At that time a groan that sounded like a scream was heard from Ronan’s feet.
“Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu….”
“Oh it’s a fucking surprise.”
Ronan lowered his gaze and cursed. Braum turned over his great shield and lay inside it. It seemed like something that fit his size perfectly and could be buried as a coffin. His bearded face still looked more like a lumberjack than a knight.
“How can there not be a single one who is sane….”
A sigh came out of my mouth. Other members could also be found not far away. Schlieffen the noble Duke of Grancia was asleep with his head pressed against the cork board on which maps and posts were attached.
In his hand where he was standing he was holding a bag of chalk that he didn’t know where he got it from. On the map of the empire a portrait of Iril was drawn in a delicate style.
“…In the meantime you drew it well.”
Ronan shook his head. He had seen all kinds of facts during his time as a punitive soldier but this was his first time receiving an injection like this. He seems like a crazy guy. He grinned as he staggered towards the kitchen.
“You did it. Asher.”
“Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu….”
Asher and Marya were lying on the floor like everyone else. Asher was moaning in pain while being held in Marya’s arms. Her aggressive chest was completely preventing Asher from breathing normally.
“Umm…I’m sleepy….”
“town…! Ugh…!”
Every time Marya tossed and turned Asher’s body also moved. It felt more like she was hugging her favorite doll or pillow than a lover’s hug but she looked happy anyway.
“Hehe… Unnie… It’s so bold….”
“Why is he like this again?”
Erzébet Akalusia’s daughter was asleep on her steps with her hair in pigtails (I don’t know why). She found it quite unpleasant to see Adeshan muttering her name while drooling.
The vampire Ophelia was nowhere to be seen. Fortunately I remembered the reason. Ronan told her on her first day back from Adren her secret which involved her own blood. Not only is she the race that handles blood the best in the world but she was originally a woman with a strong researcher temperament.
‘She reacted almost obsessively.’
Ophelia took responsibility for her and said she would figure out a way to use her blood so she left for her castle. She had a lot of blood drawn to use as a sample which may have made her more drunk than usual.
【Kkeereoeook! Wow!】
“Bwaunwoo…Bwaunung….”
Itargand was lying in the training ground outside the building having changed to his true form. His shiny scales were scribbled with graffiti presumed to have been done by members of the department. Sita was curled up on his wide back asleep.
“…played well.”
Ronan who was suddenly looking around at them smiled. She didn’t feel too bad. Perhaps because they were usually focused only on work and studies they seemed to have been completely freed this time.
‘Sometimes it has to be like this.’
After having a lot of fun it was time to start the day again. I stayed up all night yesterday and sent the materials I had organized to various places so I was expecting some kind of response by today.
He was heading to the bathroom to come to his senses by washing his face. Suddenly someone’s face passed before my eyes. Ronan stopped in place.
‘What about Adeshan?’
Come to think of it she had forgotten the most important person. She couldn’t see Ade Shan. I clearly remember being very drunk and acting coquettish.
‘Did you go back first?’
Since she was the student council president I thought she might be like that. It was the moment when Ronan was about to make his move. Suddenly a delicious smell wafted from the kitchen.
“This is…”
Even as my stomach turned my appetite whetted. It was the smell that came from boiling soup with mussels and other seafood.
Ronan walked towards the kitchen as if he were possessed by something. The sound of boiling water was getting closer.
He opened the door and saw Ade Shan standing in front of the pot wearing an apron. Her long straight hair that reached down to her waist was floating in a messy manner. Ronan who had been looking at her for a while opened her mouth.
“Adeshan.”
“Ah Ronan. “Are you awake?”
Adeshan looked back at him and smiled. It was a friendly smile that I never get tired of seeing no matter how many times I see it.
“What are you doing this morning? “You must be tired.”
“Ugh. It just seems like everyone is having a hard time. “I thought it would be good to relieve myself a bit.”
“her.”
Ronan laughed. They must have been drinking together but this girl didn’t seem to have a hangover. She put down her ladle and spoke her words.
“You should sleep more. “There’s still a little bit left before it’s completed.”
“It’s okay. I have to get up soon. Is there anything I can help you with?”
“huh. really. “But if you’re not sleepy there’s something I want to ask you…”
Suddenly Adeshan started talking. Her face was slightly flushed and the atmosphere was unusual. Ronan shrugged his eyebrows.
“What is it?”
“Do you…remember last night?”
“What’s wrong? Did I make a mistake?”
“If the poem is a mistake is it a mistake…? Well…you know but when I drink alcohol do I have to do whatever I want? It goes astray. So…”
Adeshan was constantly looking around to see if anyone was awake. Like a child watching his or her parents’ reaction after making a mistake. When Ronan didn’t say anything as he was busy recalling her memories she started babbling at an inaudible pace.
“But honestly it’s your fault too. First of all it’s been so long since we last met…it’s against the rules to take off your clothes because it’s suddenly hot…no no no. It’s my fault after all. What a shame to become an elder…!”
“Umm…last night.”
Ronan scratched her head. Only a few fragment-like cross sections remained and nothing at all came to mind. I think I just drank alcohol and stretched out. He finally reached a conclusion and opened his mouth.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about but I think it’s probably not flying.”
“…really?”
“yes. really.”
“Haaaa…! That’s it then. “Thank goodness.”
Adeshan breathed a sigh of relief. The worry disappeared from her face. Ronan tilted his head at her incomprehensible behavior.
“…what is it?”
She couldn’t understand. Without saying a word he grabbed Adeshan’s chin pulled it in and kissed it lightly. Her eyes opened wide. There was no particular reason I just wanted to do it.
“I missed you.”
“really….”
Ade Shan lowered her head as if she was ashamed. Before long their eyes met again. The face was getting closer again. Someone’s voice came from behind.
“You were excited as soon as you came back. Anyone who sees her will think she is a newlywed.”
“Kwaaak!”
She shrugged her shoulders making Ade Shan startle. Her dishes spilled all over her and her partner. With her animalistic reflexes Ronan reached out and caught her plate just in time to crash to the floor.
“You fucking surprised me.”
“I don’t intend to disturb you but it would be better to choose the time and place. “If a rumor spreads that the student president of Phileon Academy is having a promiscuous relationship with an ordinary student… it’s going to be so fun.”
“Okay okay. “I thought there was no one there.”
Ronan who had been hesitating turned his head towards her. Nabi Rose dressed in uniform stood with her arms crossed in the doorway of the club building.
“It’s been a while instructor.”
“Your cooking skills aren’t bad. “It’s a bit scathing to hold a party without mentioning only the teacher.”
“Why are you acting so childish? Really. “You were on a business trip until yesterday.”
She was eating the leftover chicken leg from last night’s snack. When she encountered Butterfly Rose she opened her mouth and made a motion with her hand as if Ade Shan was chasing away her bug.
“It’s not a promiscuous relationship! “We don’t have that…”
“embrace. You can’t do that. So did you get a mosquito bite on your neck Adeshan?”
“Hot…!”
Ade Shan sighed. She sucked in a breath. Her normally red face became even hotter.
Ade Shan quickly covered her neck with her palm but Ronan had already looked away. Just as Butterfly Rose said there were one or two red marks left on her long white neck.
“This…so this…!”
“What a big mosquito. “It’s still cold but it’s sturdy.”
Nabi Rose was laughing and teasing Adeshan as if she was dying of fun. Ronan’s face hardened like a statue. Fuck did I really do that?
“…sorry.”
In the end her Ade Shan unable to overcome her shame lowered her head. It seemed like she knew why she asked about last night. Ronan asked in a whisper.
“What did I do? Even things like this and that…”
“Shh be quiet…!”
Adeshan cautioned putting her index finger to the corner of her mouth. It seems that he made a mistake while drunk. Nabirose who had killed the fifth chicken leg continued.
“Well let’s stop talking nonsense here. “Come to Phileon Plaza as soon as you are ready.”
“Of course. Just the two of us?”
“Everyone here. “It looks like the principal has something to say to all the students.”
“Huh? “All students?”
Ronan and Adeshan tilted their heads. Except for large events such as graduation ceremonies or festivals it was extremely rare to gather all students.
“What’s going on?”
“I don’t know. Because it was sudden. “Anyway I told you to meet by noon so just know that.”
Nabirose said that he came to deliver that information in the first place. She made Ade Shan’s face red again with a rather crude joke and then turned away. Ronan who had been dumbfounded opened his mouth.
“What is going on?”
“…I know.”
Ade Shan shook her head. Even her student council president seemed to have received nothing special. She had to do it anyway so Ronan woke up all of her staff and headed to her sink.
“You did well to receive a kiss from this guy.”
Ronan laughed when he saw himself in her mirror. As expected a primitive man was standing there. If I were Adeshan I think I would have run away screaming.
He took off his jacket to wash his hair. Suddenly something strange caught the eye of Ronan who was drinking water in the basin. From his collarbone to the nape of his neck there were marks that looked like they had been bitten by mosquitoes. And quite a lot.
“…What is this again?”
It somehow looked quite similar to the one left on Adeshan’s neck. Ronan who finished washing in less than five minutes immediately followed her. All students were already gathered in the main plaza of Phileon Academy.
