“It’s the last time. “Is this enough?”

The early morning air was cold. In the distant sky starlight like crumbs twinkled. Naransonia who returned to her original form threw a broken stone pillar far away.

thud! The pillar flew in a parabolic curve and fell on a mountain of rubble. All the fragments of her that once made up Adren had been removed by her.

“yes. I think it will work. thank you.”

Asher bowed her head. He was busily moving around the disk correcting the letters and pictures written on the magic circle by rubbing them with a pebble.

With this all the obstacles blocking the disk disappeared. The magic circle used in Nebula Clazie’s ritual was revealing itself in its entirety.

Asher who discovered the magic circle a little while ago asked Naransonia to remove all the debris on the disk. Sonia wondered what kind of nonsense that was but she eventually granted his request.

Adren was still falling. Even she couldn’t understand why she had invested her precious little time in this little human wizard instead of devoting it to saving her own life.

She said ‘Did I lose too much blood?’

Did you want to grasp at straws even though you knew it was impossible? If anyone asked her why she did that she could only answer that she just felt like she had to.

“…It’s done.”

At that time Asher who had scratched a letter on the floor stood up. My mana had not fully recovered yet so my body had no strength.

He put down the jjangdol and sat cross-legged in the center of the magic circle. Naransonia asked.

“So what exactly are you trying to do? “You can prevent a fall with this magic circle?”

“If you’re lucky. Although this is a form I have never seen before it is basically a coherent/radiative circuit. It gathers external magical power to the target signals some of it and then emits it. “It’s powerful but the structure itself is simple so I felt like I could use it with just a little bit of effort.”

Asher did not stutter once while explaining the magic circle. He said that he modified the magic circle leaving only the power-gathering effect and removing the signal-emitting function.

“Emission and aggregation…what?”

Sonia frowned at me. She did not understand most of the technical terms that came out of Asher’s mouth. However she seemed to know what Asher was trying to do. she asked.

“So…are you going to recreate the ritual that His Majesty did?”

“yes. We have to start before the stars completely set. “Can I ask for one more thing?”

Asher said. The sparkling eyes beneath the long eyelashes were heavily sunken. Naransonia frowned.

“What do you mean please?”

“Whatever happens please don’t stop me.”

The young voice was full of determination. Naransonia was shocked for a moment. The change in momentum made me feel like I had become a completely different person. She nodded her head without realizing it.

“…Sure.”

“Ehehe…thank you.”

Asher laughed. An inexplicable detachment was felt in his flawless and clear smile. Something that can reveal even someone who has given up everything. For a moment Naransonia’s brow furrowed.

“Wait a minute you can’t believe it….”

Asher closed her eyes before she could finish her sentence. The young genius once again fell into a world of selflessness where only himself and magic existed.

A singing-like spell began to flow from between small lips. The starlight that was setting above their heads became brighter. The surrounding atmosphere and mana were swirling and converging into one point.

“This is…!”

Naransonia’s eyes widened. An amount of mana that far exceeded the total amount she could contain was being sucked into that small human body.

The cluster of lights spreading out from Asher illuminated the magic circle like molten iron poured into a mold. He slowly opened his mouth.

“Let me begin.”

Grumble. A thin stream of blood flowed down Asher’s nostrils.

****

“If you want to hang out come see me.”

Duaru’s head fell off his body. Blue blood soaked the sky. Orsay’s eyes widened as if they were about to pop out.

【You guy…!】

I couldn’t believe it even when I saw it. I couldn’t believe it but I actually cut it down. The headless body began to fall. As she caught her breath Ronan wiped the blood from her face with his sleeve.

“…after.”

The feeling of blue blood that I felt for the first time in a long time felt like shit no different from my previous life. Doaru’s head which had been spinning and rising began to fall. For a moment Ronan’s eyes met his.

“how….”

Duaru’s eyes were still wide open. Instead of answering Ronan made an obscene hand gesture. There was no reason to explain something like that.

“…iced coffee.”

Duaru’s head fell to the ground along with his body. The movements of the light giants who were engaged in a fierce battle stopped. The puzzled dragons’ eyes focused on one place.

【Float and fall! Humans did it!】

【What is it really? What happened to Your Majesty and the Demon Dragon?】

【oh my god…!】

There was no one who was not shocked. The monster which could not even make a scratch even when all of Adren’s dragons charged at it turned into a headless corpse and was falling headlong into the ground. Ronan and Orsay hovering in the sky looked like statues erected by a great master.

【Kaaaa!!】

【Kuhuhuh-!】

Pure emotion surged in their hearts. The dragons instead applauded by spreading their wings and roaring. The dawn that had just risen was dyeing the ruined Adren in golden light.

“…joy.”

Schlieffen laughed. Even he who was always calm was unable to completely suppress his overwhelming emotions. He who was crossing his arms above the Dragon King’s head looked up at the sky and closed his eyes tightly once then opened them.

But the person who should have been the happiest was showing no reaction. Suddenly the Dragon King’s voice rang out.

【…Hey I’m a prosecutor who knows manners-】

【Is the monster dead?】

Schlieffen lowered his gaze. The Dragon King was staggering as if he was drunk and was slowly lowering his altitude. He still had thick fresh blood forming on his left hind leg and under his stomach. He was falling repeatedly.

The four pupils were cloudy as if they were covered with a membrane. The scales which were originally wilting became even more faded. Schlieffen’s face hardened.

“you….”

【Hahaha…looking at the reaction-】

【I guess so….】

The Dragon King muttered softly. In his hazy vision only the blue of the sky and the dark green of the golden forest at dawn were intertwined and spread abstractly. Schlieffen who had been silent for a moment opened his mouth.

“…How did that happen?”

The condition was deteriorating too quickly. I thought it was too much but I had no idea it would be this bad.

“your majesty?”

Schlieffen asked again but the Dragon King did not answer. It wasn’t because he was trying to gain weight it was simply because he couldn’t hear his voice.

The sound was difficult to hear. The air I inhaled and exhaled tasted like blood. He didn’t even know how he flapped his wings. However his sense of duty to complete his duties as a king was moving his body to its limits.

He could not stop until he saw that all his subjects and people who fought together were safe. The floating stone was not completely destroyed so there was still hope.

【Let’s go back…not yet-】

【You can get it….】

The Dragon King was in the middle of his descent. Douaru’s mouth which had suddenly fallen slowly opened. A muttering sound came out so softly that no one could hear it.

『According to his will…』

No one heard. But change has definitely occurred. Duaru’s body which had almost reached the ground creaked and stretched out its arms. Photons gathered around him and a spear made of light was held in his hand.

Compared to before it was ridiculously small. If the existing window blew away an entire mountain this was fortunate enough to destroy just one farmhouse.

It seemed meaningless. However there was still one thing left for him to destroy. Duaru swung his arm very slowly aiming at the target.

Whoosh… The spear of light that left his hand flew away helplessly. Finally his torso and head which had been plummeting hit the ground.

Wow! Bones and flesh tore as if exploding and blue blood burst out. The light completely went out from Douaru’s eyes where all five bodies were separated. Sigh! At the same time the flying spear dug into a crack in the floating stone. Ronan who belatedly noticed the strange incident turned his head.

“what…!”

It was the car he was about to shout out. Kwahahah Ah- !!! A huge pillar of light rose up with an explosion that turned the ground upside down.

The floating stone which was almost broken was completely destroyed. The mana pulsating inside the floating stone spread out in all directions creating huge ripples.

【What?!】

【Everyone be careful!】

The dragons were agitated. Rumble! The ground of Adren was shaking like a wave. The descent was accelerating and the ground was rapidly moving away. Ronan who saw the scene cursed.

“This bastard until the end…!”

It was reckless. I didn’t expect him to move even though his head was cut. Ahayute that bastard was dead too what a terrible bastard he was.

Even though their master died the light giants did not disappear. It turned violent as if it was his last struggle before dying. They flew around like a swarm of angry bees and started attacking the dragons again.

“Goooot!!”

“Gooooooook!”

But the fighting did not resume. Now the dragon side didn’t have to waste time fighting the giant. The Dragon King who understood the situation shouted loudly.

【Ugh…the floating stone was broken-】

【Retreat! All who have wings begin saving lives!】

Blood poured out from the mouths of the two heads. One by one the frozen dragons regained their senses. About a hundred dragons ignored the giants and began flying towards Adren at once.

Since the floating stone was destroyed there was nothing to do. As the Dragon King said we had to save as many lives as possible before everything was destroyed. Suddenly someone’s face flashed through Ronan’s mind when he heard the word ‘life’.

“Aser.”

Asher was the only one in the group who was in the recovery group. And as far as he knew Asher did not have enough mana left to protect his body. Ronan shouted his friend’s name urgently.

“Fucking Orse!”

【I know too!】

Orsay took a nosedive. He used Blink continuously and broke through the group of buzzing light giants. pop! pop! pop! The figures of Orsay and Ronan repeatedly appeared and scattered as shadows.

“Get out of the way you bastards!”

“Goaagh!”

Ronan did not stop swinging his sword even though the wind made it difficult for him to even open his eyes. The dismembered bodies of the giants turned into light and disappeared.

In literally the blink of an eye Orsay reached the city area where Asher was presumed to be. As Ronan was scanning the ground a familiar voice sounded in his ears.

“Stop! Can’t you hear me? “Stop!”

“…Naransonia?”

Ronan turned her head in the direction of the sound. In the middle of the city Sonia who had changed into her original form was screaming her voice.

“Human do you really want to die?!”

In front of her Asher was sitting cross-legged. At the feet of the two the magic circle seen at the top of Sky Tower was shining in pure white.

“That’s…!”

Ronan raised his eyebrows. It wasn’t just because Asher’s butt was floating about 1m above the floor. Seven streams of blood were flowing from his face which was pale as a sheet of paper. Even in his nose mouth ears and eyes.

The small body was shaking as if it would explode at any moment. Nebula Clage’s unique sparkling mana was spread all over her.

I don’t know what the hell they were doing but I had to stop it. Gritting his teeth Ronan shouted at her loudly.

“Asher!!”

【wizard!】

Orsay took a nosedive. It was the moment when he was about to activate blink again. Suddenly a huge magic circle unfolded across the dawning sky.

Kwak-ga-ga-ga-gak! Adren’s fall stopped with the sound of a hook scraping the ground.
