232. Entry
#232
“Didn’t you hear? next.”
“Fuck.”
The examiner spoke as if urging him to do so. Ronan kept groping his back as if trying to remove a bug but he could not feel the imprint. He swallowed thick saliva as he realized he was screwed.
‘What the fuck happened?’
I couldn’t figure out why the imprint which was fine disappeared. I still vividly remember looking in the mirror and giggling saying that my back definitely improved my form.
The two people were still looking at his smooth back with puzzled eyes. Asher said.
“It seemed like it had faded a little but I never expected it to go away…”
“what?”
“It’s my fault. “I should have told you then…!”
Asher held his head with both hands. He happened to see that the engraving on Ronan’s back had faded slightly a few days ago when he was walking around with his topless.
At the time I thought it was just my mood or something special so I moved on but I never thought it would end up like this. He was blaming himself and said in tears.
“I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. I am…!”
“it’s okay. “It’s already happened so what should I do?”
Ronan shook his head. Unless the cause was identified it was inevitable even if we had known about it in advance. He chewed his lips and sighed as he pondered.
“…let’s go.”
“Really? “Are you okay?”
“okay. There isn’t really a way. Are you going to use the beauty world at least?”
Asher pursed his lips. Ronan walked to the screening table with the two people. There was no other way to do this except to try to hit it. Since it was engraved I wonder if the energy remains even if only slightly.
‘If I get kicked out I’ll have to at least smuggle myself into the country.’
Now that it was like this he had to assume the worst case scenario. Ronan and his group who were walking while looking for a wall they could overcome soon arrived in front of the examiner. The messenger’s charred lower body was still rolling at his feet.
“You guys go first.”
“Uh yeah.”
Asher and Schlieffen who had no kangaroos stepped forward first. The examiner who saw their engravings muttered in an interested voice.
“Hmm. Are you a servant of Itargand? “This is precious.”
“…Examiner. Did you say Itargand?”
Suddenly the eyes of the guards standing guard changed. The large men approached with great strides and surrounded the three people.
“Why are you doing this?”
“What’s going on?”
Her frightened Asher shrugged her shoulders. Schlieffen’s hand rose to the hilt of his sword. It was an unusually threatening feeling as if it was about to attack at any moment.
Suddenly I remembered that Itargand had told me to hide information that was related to him. Ronan’s brow furrowed.
‘There’s nothing we can do here damn it.’
It wasn’t that I forgot but there was nothing I could do if the judging panel came out like this. Was it also greedy to hope that at least the entry process would be fair? The examiner who was fiddling with his beard continued.
“Time flies so fast that the youngest member of the Fire Dragon clan already has a servant. “Please come in.”
“Yes yes?”
“However please refrain from mentioning the owner’s name. “The timing is not very good.”
Ronan and his group’s eyes widened. They let it pass so easily? The sentries who were holding the weight asked questions in embarrassed voices.
“Bar Banartier. His Majesty clearly ordered that if anyone related to the Navardose clan came they should be expelled or arrested. “How could this be…”
“Don’t you know that that is a nonsensical order? Navardose is someone who has enjoyed this land even before Adren was created. “Please don’t be blinded by his greed and forget your duty.”
The examiner strongly criticized the decision. The dejected sentries retreated. Fortunately not everyone seemed to support the Dragon King in the political fight. He said turning to Ronan.
“Then whose servant are you?”
“Uh…so. “I am…”
The old man had one eye that was extremely harsh. The scene of that mouth opening and flames pouring out was pictured in my mind over and over again.
‘It’s really fucked up.’
I couldn’t think of any way to overcome the current situation. First of all I was fiddling with my shirt to show off my back. The examiner who was looking at Ronan closely let out a small exclamation.
“…oh my god.”
“What’s wrong?”
Ronan tilted his head at the sudden reaction. The examiner slowly walked forward and suddenly knelt down on one knee. The eyes of everyone present were wide open.
“Uh…there?”
“The old dragon Vanartie meets with the representative of the Fire Mother.”
“deputy?”
“Yes. Aren’t you carrying the spark of the beginning? Please forgive my rudeness in only now recognizing this noble person.”
Ronan raised his eyebrows when he heard the word “ember of the beginning.” I completely forgot. Into this heart was implanted a fragment of the fundamental power of Navarre that could not be compared to an engraving or anything like that.
‘I never thought I would benefit in this way.’
When I thought about it I thought that the reason Itargand’s imprint disappeared over a few days was because it was absorbed into it. A large fire devours a small fire in a similar way. Ronan who had been scratching his head opened his mouth.
“Did you have an agent other than me?”
“A long time ago. But this is my first time with humans. “Even dragons do not inherit his blood but to receive the spark of the beginning… It fills me with awe.”
The extremely polite attitude was almost creepy. I’m not sure but receiving the spark of the beginning itself seemed to have tremendous meaning.
From the looks of it this old man also looks like a dragon but I never thought he would show up in such a low posture. Once again I was able to realize the status of that sensual dragon married woman.
“then….”
The examiner slowly got up looked at the front door and muttered something. Kugugugugung… The gate began to open with a sound that sounded like a mountain roaring. He said pointing to Adren visible through the crack in the door.
“Please go in. However as I told my companions it would be best to be careful. The majority of dragons and servants still respect Navardose but they are just as afraid of His Majesty’s oppression as the Dragon King.”
“thank you. “Can we leave the ship we came on as is?”
Ronan pointed to the Red Whirlwind. The sight of him lying at an angle at the edge of the pier was quite pitiful. The examiner smiled kindly and waved his hand.
“Ah we’ll keep that one separate. “Don’t worry.”
“Please take care of me. “It is a ship that Itargand loves very much.”
The sentries were looking at the group with dumbfounded expressions. After saying those words Ronan took his steps.
“Then let’s go.”
The door was still open so the gap was narrow but it was enough for three humans to pass through. It was awkward because it went so well as expected but it was a good thing because I succeeded in entering the country anyway.
‘It won’t work out the way you want. Nebula Clage.’
Ronan strengthened his resolve again. It was the moment I passed through a gate that was probably 5 meters thick. The most spectacular view of the city I have ever seen unfolded before my eyes.
“Wow…!”
“Amazing. “Is this the dragon city?”
Asher and Schlieffen exclaimed in admiration. It was incredibly delicate and beautiful for a city where huge dragons lived.
Overall most of the large buildings were decorated with gold or jewels. It was a sculpture that clearly reflected the dragon’s unique greedy nature.
People and animals that appeared to be servants or polymorphed dragons were walking freely through the streets. The sunset which had reached its peak was adding to its beauty.
“…It’s awesome.”
Ronan muttered softly. But he had no time to get lost in sentimentality. He brushed his bangs and looked back at the two people and said.
“First let’s go to a place where there are as many people as possible. “I need to gather rumors related to the church.”
“Um if it’s a place where a lot of people gather…a square? hotel?”
“Maybe it’s a place like that. “You never know where the enemy may be so don’t relax.”
Ronan pleaded. They moved deeper into the city. The magnificent tower where the Dragon King resided was looking down on them from the center of Adren.
****
“Damn…it’s heavy. “I can’t believe I have to carry the humans’ ships.”
“Is it really okay… If His Majesty finds out he won’t let it go.”
The sentries grumbled. About a dozen people were moving the Red Whirlwind into the hangar. Originally it was customary for visitors to take care of their own vehicles but due to orders from the inspector Vanartier there was no choice.
“Ugh…! “Kaaaaaa!”
Originally it was not normal to lift and move something that had to be floated on water. After struggling for almost an hour they were able to get the stupid sloop into the hangar. One of the guards who had been checking Ronan and his party said as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
“Huh…damn it. Wow it’s finally over.”
“If it continues like this it won’t work because it’s unfair. Even though they are dragons and we are henchmen this is too much.”
“How about this? I will secretly report it to Your Majesty. And we share the prize. “I am sure Navardos will reward you generously as he is a man of great shame.”
“Oh that’s okay. Actually since when have I been praising a person? “It’s been almost a hundred years since I left Adren.”
The sentries chuckled. They were discussing plans to fuck up Vanartier and the Dragon King’s reward. Squeak… The cabin door slowly opened. Someone’s voice was heard from above.
“That’s strange.”
“what?”
The sentries all raised their heads. There was clearly a man standing on the deck where there was no one there. Even when we inspected the inside of the sloop there was no one like that.
The man with his hair down to his waist was wearing a long black coat that reached down to his shins. He looked down at the guards and opened his mouth.
“Let me ask you one thing. “Who rules Adren now?”
“What are you?!”
“Could it be that Navarre has fallen from his throne?”
The man in black continued speaking ignoring the guards. No answer came back. The man who was watching their reactions sighed.
“…It seems like that. “It seems like a long time has passed.”
His attitude was so calm that it made me feel bad. Anger slowly began to appear on the embarrassed faces of the guards. A sentry with a spear drawn pointed at the man in black and shouted.
“It looks like it’s a stowaway but it’s carrying a strange weight. “Come down!”
“If you surrender obediently I won’t tear you to death!”
Eventually the infectious anger excited the guards. That kind of attitude was unacceptable. Made up of servants of famous dragons they were like guard dogs in Adren but compared to humans they were no different from superhumans.
“Come down!”
At that time a sentry threw away the spear he was holding in his hand. Shhh! The spear aimed precisely at the head flew through the wind.
But the man in black dodged the attack by lightly twisting his head. Both of his hands were still in the pockets of his coat. Sigh! The spear flew in a straight line and hit the mast right behind it. The sentry’s eyes grew so big that they almost seemed to pop out.
“Did you avoid blood?”
The spear blade had completely disappeared into the mast. This was because the throwing force was so strong. It was impossible for a human to avoid that. The black man glanced at the window and growled lowly.
【Who dare you show your teeth in front of?】
The sentries shrugged their shoulders. The energy itself was different from before. It seemed like he wasn’t an average bet. They made a quick decision and simultaneously unleashed the power of engraving.
“He’s suspicious. Deal with it immediately!”
“Kaaaaaaak!”
Since they were skilled it didn’t take long. The armor exploded revealing a body covered in scales.
Within a few seconds the guards transformed into monsters that looked like a mixture of half wyvern and half human. They roared with anger and rushed at the man.
“I’ll kill you!”
“I know where this is!”
All the sentries boarded the ship in one leap. bang! bang! bang! Every time the giant foot hit the deck a loud noise rang out. The man in black took his hands out of his pockets. Kwasik! For a moment it seemed like his body was blurring and then the upper body of ten of the eleven people exploded and were torn apart.
“What…!”
It wasn’t even visible. The face of the one survivor turned completely white. Shoot the fresh blood and flesh that had soared high into the sky began to pour down like rain.
The man in black stood still. His appearance covered in red blood looked as calm as if he were on an outing. The sentry sensing absolute defeat was about to turn his back and run away. Something long and sharp pierced his back.
“Big…billion…!”
The sentry slowly lowered his gaze. The head of the polearm he had thrown a moment ago was growing through his chest. The man in black tapped the spear embedded in his body and opened his mouth.
【Spit out everything you know. About Adren and…Navardose.】
“That’s right. “I’ll tell you everything so please save me…!”
The man in black didn’t answer. The frightened guard forgot the pain of being pierced by his spear and he told him everything he knew. The explanation lasted for twenty minutes.
【I see. Navardose and his family suddenly disappeared somewhere?】
“That’s right. No one knows where it went. “It’s real!”
【Hmm….】
“Please save me now. I told you everything. huh?”
The man in black sighed. Judging from the guard’s attitude it didn’t seem like he was lying. He was thinking about something and nodded.
【Now go away.】
“Turn it off? for a moment…!”
The sentry was about to turn his head. The man in black lifted the spear he was holding. Sigh! The spear blade twisted vertically cut vertically from the sentry’s chest to the top of his head.
There was no screaming. The fountain of blood gushed. dump. A corpse open like a bud fell to the floor. The man in black wiping the blood with his handkerchief took his steps.
“This has become a hassle.”
This situation got a little annoying. He had to find someone who knew Navardose’s whereabouts. But I heard that the whole clan disappeared where?
“…ah.”
As he was thinking a human face flashed through his mind. I heard your name was Ronan.
I’m not sure of its purpose but it’s probably still wandering around Adren. He thought the relationship would end the moment he rented a boat.
“Let’s have a drink first….”
The man in black muttered quietly and took a step forward. The sunset that seeped through the gap in the hangar door illuminated the eleven corpses.
