“What?” Bucky and Aurelia could not believe what they were hearing.
“Miss Morrison did you just say that I’m no match for this kid? What kind of joke is this?” Bucky pointed
at himself and chuckled like he just heard the funniest joke.
He did not know the extent of Leon’s power but the Emperor State was a barrier that was hard to cross
for younger martial artists who only started training for a few years.
Indeed only a few managed to reach the Emperor State amongst the youngest generation of martial
artists in the Western region. Those who accomplished this were all from extremely powerful families.
Hugh on the other hand was just a lowly vice president in the Cynthion Group and not from any
prestigious family.
Considering his age and status Bucky felt that it would already be quite fortunate for Hugh to be in the
Overlord state.
Yet Renee claimed that he was no match for Hugh and he was not about to believe her.
“I’m not messing with you. Hugh’s likely in the Advanced Emperor Stat.
Even Felton lost to him and got injured two days ago. If you don’t want to suffer the same fate you
better not cross Hugh” Renee said.
To prevent the situation from escalating and prevent Hugh from crossing the Grimstons and
Underwoods she decided to tell Aurelia and Bucky the truth in the hope that they would just give up.
That would be ideal for everyone involved.
“The Advanced Emperor state? Him? He’s just a vice president with low status so how can he be in
the Advanced Emperor state? Do you take me for a fool?” Bucky scoffed.
He knew that the most powerful martial artists amongst the youngest generation were Hugo and
Felton.
Hugo was ranked as the very top and even he was merely in the Intermediate Emperor State.
A man from a humble background like Hugh could not possibly surpass Hugo and reach the Advanced
Emperor State.
This was simply impossible.
He also knew that Felton was formidable and second to only Hugo. As the son of the Southern Boss
he had the powerful Fermers backing him up.
If Hugh truly defeated and injured Felton Felton would have never spared Hugh and there was no way
that Hugh would still be alive at this moment.
Everything pointed to the fact that Renee’s words were false.
