“Oh is that so?” Leon raised an eyebrow and stared directly into Jensen’s eyes.
Jensen helped him multiple times and protected him from Felton so Leon had a good impression of
him.
He saw no deception or guilt in Jensen’s eyes and the dark expression on his face eased.
“It’s true! Mister Wolf we are here wishing nothing for nothing but a chance to work with Cynthion
Group. If possible please give the Dagleshs a chance” Jensen said sincerely.
“Yeah Mister Daglesh’s right!” “Mister Wolf that was just a misunderstanding. We all truly want to work
with Cynthion Group.”
The others snapped out of it and agreed along.
“Well” Leon glanced at Jensen and then at the others falling into silence.
Since his last visit to the Morrisons’ mansion he could already tell that Jayden was a selfish and
arrogant person.
He merely needed a few moments to figure out that Jayden was likely trying to convince others to team
up against him.
This was likely not what the others wanted.
Realization dawned on him and he did not blame the others any longer.
However Cynthion Group only needed one partner. With so many people wanting to work with him he
could only pick one of them and could not possibly work with them all.
This left him deep in thought.
Leon soon made his decision. “Mister Daglesh you and your family can follow me to my room to
discuss the conditions of a partnership. As for
the others thank you for your appreciation. However Cynthion Group only needs one partner and can’t
work with you all. Please forgive US.”
Though he promised to prioritize Morrisons as his partners they were simply far too insincere. Jayden
above everyone kept causing trouble to satisfy his greed.
This enraged Leon and he was utterly disappointed in the Morrisons.
In comparison Jensen was honest and even aided Leon multiple times the night before. Ever since he
helped fight Felton Leon developed a rather good impression of him.
Hence he decided to cast the Morrisons aside and give the Dagleshs a chance.
As for the other families he was not familiar with them. Since Cynthion Group did not need that many
partners to begin with he could only apologize and reject them.
“What? Really? That’s great!” Jensen was overjoyed.
Elder Daglesh and Jensen exchanged joyful looks.
They both knew that Leon promised to only look for other partners if things did not work out with the
Morrisons. Hence they only came all the way to visit Leon with the faint hope of securing a partnership
with Cynthion Group.
To their surprise Jayden foolishly enraged Leon and Leon decided to give up on working with the
Morrisons. Instead he was prepared to give the Dagleshs a chance and they both felt like they won the
lottery.
Instantly their hearts were filled with excitement.
