Chapter 2627

“Fletcher why are you doing this?” Howard sighed when he heard Mister Orpwood.

He already told Fletcher not to bring an outsider into the building. Yet Fletcher refused to listen to

reasons and even brought Leon to meet Mister Orpwood.

This was foolish of him and he would likely be punished for it.

However what happened next shook him.

“Mister Orpwood this is Mister Hugh Wolf. He’s not an outsider” Fletcher said.

Just as he was about to inform Mister Orpwood of Leon’s identity he was interrupted.

“Hugh Wolf? That sounds so familiar” Mister Orpwood was taken aback and soon recalled something.

Sensing his shock Fletcher smiled and explained “Mister Orpwood he’s the one who took the

Poisonwielder down on his own.” “What? It is him! Wonderful!” Mister Orpwood was shocked and stood

abruptly.

When he heard the name Hugh he already guessed who Loen was. upon hearing Fletcher’s

affirmation he burst into laughter.

“Mister Wolf we’ve finally met again! I’ve already heard about how you eliminated the Poisonwielder

and other heroic acts you committed. I’m so pleased to meet you in person!” He walked around the

table and approached Leon before shaking his head with an impressed look on his face.

“You are too kind Mister Orpwood. It’s my pleasure to meet you today” Leon smiled modestly.

“Very impressive! You are formidable yet modest about it. What a hero!” Mister Orpwood smiled.

Not only was Leon capable but he was also modest and kind.

He was far more impressive than Mister Orpwood imagined.

“What? How is this possible?” Howard rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

He initially thought that Mister Orpwood would punish Fletcher for bringing Loen over without

permission.

To his bewilderment Mister Orpwood’s reaction was completely different from what he anticipated.

Not only did he not punish Fletcher but he also seemed rather impressed by Leon.

Howard never saw Mister Orpwood praising someone so much so it was unbelievable.

“Fletcher what’s going on?” Snapping out of it Howard asked in confusion.

“Howard I told you that Mister Wolf is special. He works for the Dragon Corps as well and is a Platinum

Dragon Guard! When we worked with the Dragon Guards from the southern region to take the

Poisonwielder down he was the one who saved US all and took the Poisonwielder down on his own”

Fletcher explained.

When a wife cheats on their husband and gets pregnant with another man's child, the husband will usually chase her out of the home and ask for a divorce. However, Leon Wolf's situation is a little different. He is 26 years old this year, and he has been married for three years. He lives with his wife and her family who treat him like a slave most of the time. One day, his wife told him that she got pregnant, and he was chased out of the home. Filled with resentment and humiliation over how he had been treated, he found himself wandering all the way to the cemetery, where he saw two men attempting to assassinate a beautiful woman. In his bid to save her, Leon received a fatal stab wound on his chest and dragged one of the men with him into a nearby river… Leon did not resurface even though the woman had waited for a long time, so she believed that Leon had probably drowned. Before she left, she called out optimistically to the river, "My name is Iris Young. If you're still alive, come and see me sometime…" Beneath the water's surface, a soft voice said, "Iris… What a beautiful name…"
